However, it could improve to be a real 4 star hotel. Right now it's more a 3 star. The room is comfortable, the stain on the carpet right in the middle of the room really puts me off.
Breadfast could be better. I suspect we are served the same old dried up chicken two days in a row. The freshly made to order crepe is not bad.
I would stay there again if the rate is lower.

A most enjoyable stay. The design of the hotel echoed the meaning of its name (Acropolis) with columns etc. . In December it was too cold to swim but the pool was beautiful. Most of the staff spoke little English, but there was always someone on duty who did. As it is a Muslim country there was no alcohol, but they had a bar with quaint cocktail names for various fruit drinks. The food was good and the breakfast lavish. One warning: there are steps in places you don't anticipate, and as an older person with a cane, I had to be very very careful for those unexpected changes in elevation. Staff were most helpful in getting me a driver to see the sights.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The restored old town beyond the ruins of Carthage is delightful. Carthage itself is not impressive, as the Romans did too good a job of destroying it. The museum at Carthage is attractive but very limited in contents.
