Food very average This is the third time that I have stayed at the Laicos Tunis in the last year. It is an OK hotel for business but unless you are attending a conference there then there are better hotels in the area.
The whole place is quite tired and needs an overhaul. When stayed on 21-24 October all of the air conditioning was turned off because it was 'late in the year'. It was not an unpleasant stay just not a memorable one either.
Travel tip : Do not get a room finishing in -15 as the internet does not work there.

The Laico Tunis hotel is located very close to the centre, and makes travel in and around Tunis very easy. The hotel is a 5* but the rooms are not to that standard. They are however very spacious and the higher floors have a nice balcony. The general hotel areas are well maintained and comfortable. The staff were very helpful, and room service excellent. We had one lady who serviced our room every evening who was a delight and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel has a nice swimming pool and terrace area. Good breakfast with a large choice of hot and cold food, we ate at the buffet restaurant one evening and have to say it wasn't very impressive. Overall a very good experience, I would stay here again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Sidi Bou Said is a short trip away and well worth a visit a taxi cost us less than £10 return.

Everything better than in the past , from the traditional kind people at the main entrance to the room . Superb quality of the breakfast . I do not remember anything that I disliked .
I think better to have free water & fruits in the room. This time I didn't have the possibility to visit any restaurant , the wellness center and the swimming pool , so I am not in the position to be complete in my comments ; however , I've had the feeling to in a friendly place with kid people everywhere .
I am planning to be again your guest during the coming summer.
