10 days in paradise
We loved our stay at Romance Beach huts. The quality/price is excellent, all the rooms have a beautiful view to the ocean and as soon as you step out of your room sand touches your feet.
The Location is one of the best ones in the entire beach since it's in the "end" it's very quite and perfect to relax and enjoy one of the best places in Goa!

Wild Wanderers
The Huts are located at the top end of the beach which is perfect for those wishing peace and tranquility. Caring attitude by Sara and her husband. The best homecooked fresh food you will find..
I would highly recommend staying with Sara and her husband, both giving great hospitality. Their meals are delicious serving the best hot coffee that I have found since arriving in India! All foods are locally supplied, fresh and home cooked with love - have not found such good foods in other places here which sadly the majority of places have introduced international cuisine. I suggest to those thinking of traveling to Goa to come and support the local community like Sara and her husband. These are caring people who are wishing to continue to develop their small enterprise for international clients. Well done for all your efforts and keep going. Thank you both for such a wonderful time. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Best location under the sky!
Location, cleanliness, hospitality
The Beach huts are beautiful and at a perfect location, the stall was really helpful. I loved every bit of my time here. Sleeping under the sky was eventually possible and so close to the ocean that I was spellbound.

Great experience, will cherish for a very long time
Location, Owner, Hospitality
Great experience, will cherish for a very long time, infact planning to visit again soon. First thing first, St. Annes Church was not difficult to find out, and this resort is on the right side of the church, at the extreme end. There is no signboard for this resort, the entrance is infact shared by Velvet Sunset, Duck’ n Chill and Agonda Romance Beach huts. You will find the board for Duck’ n Chill. Sara Madam herself came to greet us with a smiling face and showed us the parking place for the car. The parking is about 100m away from the resort, with small lanes, leading to the huts. Walking through the small lanes, was wondering where it was leading to....... forgot everything, seeing the Arabian Sea roaring in front of us. The term PREMIUM in indeed misleading. Everything is very basic, rooms, bathrooms, balcony, ceiling fans... But it’s there, whatever you need! That’s more important. These beach huts exists only from October to May and they try their best to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Some of the huts were under construction, when we arrived. But that didn’t caused any hindrance in our stay. Sara madam personally took care for all our need, let it be extra blankets at night, towels or guiding us to make the best deals in shopping around. She is an exceptionally great cook, which reflects in the BIRIYANI, crab curry and the fish curry, she prepared for us. Purchased fresh fish from the local market, hardly 10 mins walk and we caught the crab at our river trip ( Kalidas Pagi, our boatman, was also arranged by Madam Sara ) Four days went in a dream and bidding farewell to this beach, and our host in particular, was touching. Infact, we exchanged some farewell gifts. It might not be long for our next GOA trip, and will definitely be staying at this ROMANCE BEACH HUTS, AGONDA.

No luxury, but right on the beach and great host!
great host. She also is a great cook. We loved her juices, breakfast and she made the best red snapper on the beach!
The huts are bigger, with two double bedrooms, then the average beach hut. So you can stay there with a family. The balcony looked out right onto the beach which for us was the most important feature. At the complete North end, it is a quiet place. But lots of places to go to if you walk down the bay. Don't expect luxury but fit for purpose. Sometimes the water did not work. The huts were not completely finished when we arrived but they got great plans for the future.

Wow, Loved it!
This beach hut is simple and right on the sand! Loved how there were two separate bedrooms and fresh beach towels were provided.
The owner was absolutely lovely and accommodating. She was always a friendly face in the mornings and would help if there was anything we requested. The beach hut is simple and extra blankets were needed but prompty supplied. The bathroom is poorly constructed by nevertheless clean and toilet paper provided. I would stay here again!

A blissful holiday
Mesmerizing location, few people and polite staff
It was my first visit to Goa. I am thankful that i chose Agonda of all places.Coming from New Delhi and working as a doctor in the busiest hospital of India, I wanted a holiday surrounded by few people and Agonda offers exactly that. The Romance Beach huts are situated at one end of the beach not very far from a cliff and a beautiful small rivulet draining into the Arabian Sea(don't miss swimming in the river). The huts are dismantled every Monsoon and when we arrived in mid-November , we were placed in the only rebuilt pink hut. Along the beach, you may find many more furnished huts but none offers the location advantage of Romance beach huts. Our hostess was Ms Sara, a very polite and accommodating Goan. If she had a restaurant, it would be Michelin starred! The biryani she cooked for us surpassed any I had eaten in Delhi in flavor and taste. Thanks, Sara ji. The hut was good for accommodation too. You do get water but at low pressure and with a slightly salty taste. If you walk too fast, the whole structure creaks. 3G services are not available in Agonda yet although few restaurants give you free wifi if you eat there. But the beds are comfortable, huts are clean, the fans work alright, the location is ethereal and the people around you are good-natured. You can't expect any more from a place charging you 1000 a night. I will come again to the beach huts, very soon. Don't miss : 1. swimming in the river nearby 2. eating Sara's biryani 4. kayaking at the nearby Palolem beach 4. sleeping under the moonlight on the sand (its pretty secluded out there at night)

Awful. Leaving them half way through our holiday. It was my worst ever holiday experience. As a result of this experience I might never use Agoda again.
