Stay here if you like the smell of cat urine.

For the price the hotel is good, it's located in the middle of KL and there are good transportation links very close by. Be aware though the place stinks from top to bottom of cat urine. On the day we left we went downstairs and checked out. It was around 6am as we had a bus to catch. We assumed that we would be ok having breakfast early as this has never been a problem in any other hotel we have stayed at. All that breakfast consisted of anyway was bread and jam which you had to toast yourself and then wash the dishes you used. When we went to take the bread out of the cupboard we were rudely told that the bread ( breakfast ) was only for guests. I was very confused because unless I had it really wrong we had just stayed the night and I'm sure we were classed as guests. The lady then pointed out that it was not yet 8am so therefore we were not entitled to the free breakfast. Funny as the day before we ate before 8am. Unfortunately the manager either isn't a morning person or she has no idea what good customer service is. I wouldn't stay here again and I wouldn't advise anyone else to either.

perfect for bagpackers or visa riders

the staff was great, the location is perfect, the place is clean
Really nice. great manager. She's not only a receptionist. She really cares about your needs and help you get to know the city. I was there on a visa ride to Thailand. She showed me where the embassy was on a map she gave me and wrote the directions on it. She also told me the names of some nice restaurants to try according to my budget and some monuments. She is helpful and friendly. She can be sure I will be back. Asfor the place, it's well located and it's cheap. Don't expect the comfort of a Hilton though. The rooms are rather small. The toilets and showers too. But it's clean. The floor squeaks sometimes and the WiFi is slow when it comes to use it for more than chatting or checking directions because there is always someone who's downloading movies. So it's a good place for bagpackers and travellers. But I wouldn't advise it for those who just wanna sit and watch movies all day.

Good location that's all

The rooms are small, the hot shower didn't work and the smell in the hostel was terrible.

Great place

close to everything, amazing staff, good aircon
I really liked it here and stayed many times, i stayed in different rooms each time (4 all together) and one of them had one bed bug. When i told them though they took the matress out and treated it and everything so I would trust agosto inn to be clean. the whole place is very clean, and the other rooms was comfortable and sanitary :) Joyce, the receptionist was absolutely amazing! Warmest, friendliest receptionist i've ever met :) Its close to everything in china town, great food all around, pasar seni is almost next door (though it is not loud at all in the hostel, rooms are nice and quiet unless you have a window) which connects you to kl sentral and everywhere else, putragaya bus station is very close also. (hope i spelt that right) great stay, highly reccomended :)

[CONTINUATION OF MY FIRST REVIEW] 4.LIVING QUARTERS-Well the old adage, you get what you pay for is true. If you wish to have plush furnishings, then this is not the place for you. But if u are looking for acceptable, clean and adequate living quarters, then this is the place for you. O yes, the air conditioning is pretty adequate, almost like a makeshift centralised unit.Lolzzz u'll understand when u get there. There are 4 shared Toilets and 4 shared showers. Its a bit cramped but serves the purpose. The only major issue is the Carpeting. Its clean, but pongs a bit when its cleaned 5.KITCHEN- It's neat. There's a main fridge where guests can keep their perishables. Just make sure u label your stuff. A free breakfast comprising of toast with a variety of Jam, Kaya, butter and peanut butter is available from 8am until 10am with unlimited cups of tea or Malaysian coffee. 6.MEETING POINT-One gets to meet a large number of diverse groups of people. I met the most pleasant, selfless caring person I've ever met in this INN. Her name sounds like it came from Sound of Music i.e. Doh Rae Mee. And I truly love her. So, u2 may find love here too. 7.SAFETY- It's safe. No cases or complaints of theft. Clean towels are provided as well as bed sheets, blankets and pillow cases, but I will still advise that you bring yours. All in all, I had a great time at Agosta Inn. I highly recommend them if u don't mind the CONS listed above. I would stay with them again. Thank you, Agosto Inn. Regards, Dr. Raheem Akindele Goodluck
