great value for a hotel right in the centre of Capetown
great value, friendly and efficient staff. Good size room but we did pay for a family room which had a double and single bed in the room. Had a good view of the Square and the market as well as mountain glimpses from the top floor of the hotel. The African market stalls set up about 7 am so a bit noisy. Lots of good cafes and restaurants and so close to the hop on hop off bus. Nice bar in hotel and top floor pool.

No vehicle parking facilities but valet services available at 75SAR per night. Greenmarket Square just infront of doorstep. Burger king a few steps away. Amazing location.

Nice hotel in the city center
Just 20 minutes drive from the airport, a few meters aways from Long Street, I chose this hotel because I was staying only 1 night and I needed somewhere not too far from the airport. The rooms are not huge, but it was more than enough for my needs. There are a few dodgy people in the area, you may want to avoid walking alone at night. My room was facing the market (which didn't bother me at all, I didn't find it noisy or anything) and I had a fantastic view over Table Mountain. Wi-fi a bit unstable but working. Good restaurant, good breakfast, airport shuttle available. I would go again fo business trips or short stays.

Great location but very frustrating wifi and poor tv choices
Cannot beat the location unless one want's to be on sea or waterfront. The room was nice with a gorgeous view of the square and Table Mountain, very helpful staff but it was a bit noisy from the market setting up in the morning if you are a light sleeper (I was on the top floor). I was there on business so wanted to watch TV to unwind but basically only movies, SABC, sports and Sky news or fluff. The internet was very unreliable - going on and off every 2 - 5 minutes. If they fixed the latter two (at least more news channels and eNCA), and maybe a fridge, it would have been perfect.

Great location but limited TV and internet issues
This hotel probably has the best location in Cape Town for all hotels not on the shore - my room had a great view of the church steeple and Table Mountain. The staff were helpful and rooms are nicely furnished and comfortable (great black out curtains). A little noise from the Square but that goes with the territory and was not too loud. The TV selection was very limited (annoying if here on business) and I had trouble with the internet but I think that the latter was temporary.
