Everything I ever wanted for a solo trip
room, location. Looks
everything was great, but however wish the staff was able to communicate in English a little bit more. I have a hard time communication with them here and there. But everything else is perfect.

Handy base in Tokyo
Location, amenities
We enjoyed our stay. The room we booked was small, but that's just Tokyo. The Granbell is more like a business hotel and not in the style of flashier hotels in the area however I preferred the Granbell as it was smaller (no having to navigate around large tour groups or wait ages for an elevator) very close to the akasaka mitsuke train station (2 min walk) and very handily located in the commercial akasaka dining / entertainment district. The staff spoke good English and our double room was provided with all amenities except iron / ironing board. I would not recommend the smaller rooms (I.e. Double rooms) to anyone with mobility issues. The included breakfast of bread, cereal and coffee / tea was also quite handy.

Good location, staff has poor English skill
Location, price, bathroom amenities
The duplex suite is nice, except for the face that you have to climb up a narrow stair. Bathroom got lots of amenities. Smaller single room is really small, but nicely designed with good shower. Location is very good as it is near the subway. WiFi signal is very poor. Staff really need to improve their English skill, we have some problem communicating.
