About AlamKulKul Boutique Resort

This boutique resort was designed to reflect the charm of a traditional Balinese village. Recently remodeled, the AlamKulKul Boutique Resort is still a symbol of Bali’s unique culture with its thatched roof villas and decor consisting of antique furniture and local handicrafts all set amidst a series of flower gardens and tranquil pools. The hotel itself offers a wide range of international cuisines at the Bunga Kelapa restaurant, and the Jamu Traditional Spa has a variety of treatments for guests who like to pamper themselves. The AlamKulKul Boutique Resort is conveniently located across from the Kuta Beach and is very close to local dining and shopping hotspots. Great boutique hotel
Alam kulkul was a great place to stay. We had villas which were wonderful. If you are looking for a large pool this is not the place to go. Pool small & temperature very warm. Staff wonderful!!

Average, no boutique
Position, quiet, bungalows
We stayed two nights and had no breakfast in the hotel. We had a new Alam room which was quite poorly renovated (small problems were already beginning to show). The sheets had quite a lot of stains (one could be an accident, but there were a lot, everywhere) and the room was full of mosquitos. Also, the outside lying mat had a really bad smell like it hadn't been cleaned after some guests... But from the outside it looks good, the staff is friendly amd it's next to the beach.

Value for money
Have huge room for family who travel with 6 person like me. You can choose family room. They serve halal food and can be eat by Muslim guest. Near with surfing facility on the kuta beach. Really recommended.

We Chose to Stay a 2nd Single Night in 2 Weeks!
Late Check Out. Across the Road from the Beach. Restaurants in the Hotel & a good choice of Breakfast. Friendly Staff
This was our 2nd one night Stay. Once when we arrived in Bali & we chose to book again for another night prior to leaving Bali because the hotel was of a good standard & we knew we would get a good quality hotel with breakfast rather than having to find somewhere else. Reception staff are helpful & pleasant as is all the staff. In saying that the breakfast buffet the 2nd time around was disappointing. Food was not replenished even though we were quite early & we had to keep requesting coffee refills. NOTE: Many people complain about the pool water being warm. This is a warm country of course it will be warm, but the bigger pool was a bit murky on our 2nd visit. Lots of Umbrellas & towels poolside are provide.

Relaxing stop over
Location, staff, friendliness
My wife and 2 kids thoroughly enjoyed our short (3 day) stop-over enroute to Jakarta. Being at the quieter end of Kuta was great with easy access to the beach, restaurants and Kuta main road also.

Reliable Stay
Across the road from the beach. Late check in availability. A bit quieter than downtown Kuta.
Based on previous Agoda reviews we booked this Hotel. There was an odour from the bathroom but nothing too desperate. As we were only staying the night it wasn't a problem. Good breakfast choice and the travel desk helped arrange a transfer to Ubud by car. In fact we have booked again to stay another night when we depart Ball in a weeks time, because it was so easy.
