About Alcoba del Rey de Sevilla Boutique Hotel

Description

Located in the characteristic district of the Macarana, the architectural structure consists of a central Andalousian patio surrounded by different chambers. Alcoba del Rey de Sevilla Boutique Hotel is close to the Basilica and in front of the Las Cinco Llagas hospital which is today the center of the Andalusia Parliament. Only three kilometers away from the Santa Justa train station and seven kilometers from the Airport San Pablo of Seville, the hotel provides a full range of amenities and a friendly, helpful staff. Instead of using numbers, all rooms have their own history with names of significant figures from Al-Andalus. Amazingly, guests can buy everything they see in the hotel. Even the beds, taps, and floors can be purchased. With characteristic style and the very best in amenities and service, it is no surprise that the Alcoba del Rey de Sevilla Boutique Hotel is a favorite.

Fantastic!
We stayed here in July and had an absolutely fantastic stay. The rooms were very clean and the hotel itself was beautifully decorated. There is a rooftop terrace with lounge chairs and a jacuzzi that we definitely took advantage of in the evening when the temperature cooled down (it is insanely hot during the day in July). The personnel were also very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is situated close to the more 'local' eateries in town, which was great. We would definitely stay here again/recommend staying here!

In the thick of things, this little boutique hotel
Location, style, staff
Good stay. Had some problems with internet on iPhone but not normal laptop. Carpark conveniently close by. Good access except during crowded festive days

Royal feel - You are not just a "number"
Unique rooms which gave a feeling of royalty , the staff were extremely accommodating and friendly , the kids were happy with the terrace jacuzzi
Awesome is the word . The hotel didn't seem overtly commercial ( provided breakfast 45 minutes before scheduled time on one morning as we had t leave early for a day trip ) - which was a welcome change from some others we have been to . They held our bags in storage for 2 days without a frown or charges as we made a 2 day trip to Granada after checkout .Overall the staff were extremely helpful ( with directions, service ,food recommendations etc ).Highly recommended.

Great location but lousy hotel
Reception staff very friendly
Hotel promotes itself as a boutique hotel yet the rooms do not have a fridge, kettle, shower and english TV stations. Street noise in the morning from 7am, When questioning the above they promised to fix TV problem, provide a kettle, change our room and the manager would see to all issues for the following day..none of it was done even after i left a polite list and discussed with reception. The breakfast was appalling. Only one girl running backwards and forwards to the kitchen individually bringing milk for the cereal, coffee to each person, eggs to each person making it impossible for her to service everybody. There was 4 rolls for 8 people and one slice of cheese with nothing replenished. Over the 2 days the manager never came to apologise or even speak to us. All the other guests were disgusted with the breakfast. Every time we were at reception to obtain our key another guest was there complaining. It is a total rip-off.

OK hotel with helpful front desk staff
beautiful furniture and decor in rooms
We did not like the beds, the hotel's brochure states that each room has a king size bed however, we had two single beds next to each other which moved all the time leaving a gap between the beds. The cold water did not flow from the taps straight away you needed to wait almost 10 minutes to have a shower without scalding yourself with hot water and it was any time of the day not just in the heat The breakfast did not have much of a selection compared to other hotels we stayed in Spain
