Situated in a discreet and exclusive neighborhood, this property is away from the tourist throngs yet yet still within walking distance to many highlights of the Eternal City. Aldrovandi Villa Borghese - The Leading Hotels of the World faces the famous Borghese gardens with its Borghese Gallery, National Gallery of Modern Art, and Bioparco. And it is just 10 minutes away from the Spanish Steps and Via Veneto. The hotel boasts interiors that live up to the gorgeous setting. The 19th century grandeur is revealed in the marble and dark wood lobby, and bedrooms are furnished in silk and velvet. The master of haute cuisine, Oliver Glowig, meets the tradition of the Aldrovandi in the eponymous 2 Michelin-starred restaurant where variety and reinterpretations of the Italian tradition are highly expressed. Pamper yourself with exceptional facials and body treatments, all using the highly regenerating power Crème de La Mer. The spa features massage rooms, a sauna, steam bath, thalassic mini-pool, and private hair dresser's parlor. The state-of-the-art fitness suite features the ultimate Technogym and Power Plate equipment. There is an array of services and facilities including an outdoor heated pool within a private exotic garden, a courtesy car to the Spanish Steps, use of iMacs and iPads, and internal car parking with valet service, use of bikes, and functional rooms for events and meetings. The amenities of the hotel's guestrooms ensure guests a luxury stay with high speed Wi-Fi, a Bang & Olufsen LCD screen TV, and a mini bar.
Extra beds are available upon request only for Junior Suite and Deluxe rooms. The cost is EUR 50 for children aged between 3 and 10, and EUR 100 for guests above 10 years old.

A fabulous stay in Rome

The concierge Enzo, the complementary shuttle to and from the Spanish Steps, and the beautiful pool and patio restaurant
The Aldrovandi Borgese hotel has old world charm with all the modern amenities you'd expect at a 5 star hotel. The beds were comfortable, the breakfast buffet was wonderful and Enzo the conceriege was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We enjoyed talking the hotel's bikes for a ride in Borghese park followed by wine and hors d'oeuvres at the lovely terrace restaurant by the pool. The staff was terrific from the bell boys, to the restaurants, and housekeeping, everyone was professional and attentive to our need. My only complaint is thst our rooms were not ready at 2 although that's the specified check in time and we had arrived at the hotel at 11am. The lady at the front desk offered us a complementary drink for the inconvenience but nerve followed through on the offer. She should have given us a voucher to to redeem at the bar or a small room credit. Also we were a family of 7 and booked three rooms. The hotel requested that we change our room to a higher room catagory for a triple which we did. The same girl at the front desk slipped in a $100 per night charge for an extra bed even though we requested a triple up front when making our reservation and paid $100 more per night for what we are told was a triple room. We loved our 3 days in Rome and our stay at the Aldrovandi however management should address the front desk issues.
