Amazing sanctuary for quiet moments with family
The resort is simply one of the best place to stay over for a vacation in Phuket. We stayed over at the Grand deluxe pool villa and gotten an all-inclusive package which is hassle free for family with young children. Breakfast was sumptuously delicious with great choices of Egg benedict and Florentine as well as fruits blends. Our kids are well entertained during meals as they served kids meal and provide them with coloring materials to keep them occupied. The Villa was 100% fantastic with a private pool and outdoor bath tub where i can spend quiet moments with my husband after my kids were asleep. Indeed, this place is a haven to us! Thumbs up, Aleenta!

Breakfast was great
Breakfast was great with a nice spread. This resort is really really far from anywhere else in Phuket so unless you have a car, be prepared to stay around the hotel all day unless you want to pay overpriced transportation to bring you around. A drive to Patong is over 60km and it took us 1 hour 45 mins due to a traffic jam. The service during check-in was good. However, the staff's attitude and service after were poor. They took our rental car and kept the key after valeting it to the carpark. When we called to retrieve the car, it took over half for hour. The staff gave us the key and asked us to go find the car ourselves saying that they do not know which is our car. I mean they parked the car for us how are we to know where they park it.

Paint Upgrade Phang Nga
So note the location is an hour away from airport and an hour away from tiger kingdom. However, the hotel can arrange for travel and there is wifi and charging in the car which is nice! We tried to save money by taking an airport taxi to the hotel, the driver got lost and was driving very unsafely so it is risky if you don't wanna pay the 1650 baht one way. Like other comments the only food is at the restuarant personally we didnt need to eat or want to anywhere else. The food was good and the chef was super nice, he would have made whatever we wanted which was great. The cost of the food is pricey along $6 beers and $10 cocktails its very comparable to what you spend in America on food so dont look for a deal there. The pool view is amazing! Looks just like the pictures. They needed to paint our room while we were there so we were upgraded to a 2 bedroom condo..while it was a little further away from the beach...it was beautiful! The beach could use some cleaning up...and the hotel could stand some renovations. It seems like in its prime this was a spectacular hotel but the salt water and beach air have taken their tole on the property. Its just those small details that make your hotel luxury like no watwr spots on the tables, bathroom toiletries, and cold towels in the gym. We just left a 5 star hotel in Bangkok so they had some fierce competition. The staff was extraordinarily nice. Like it was pleasantly refreshing how customer focused they were! I wish I could give them all the stars bc they were just the sweetest ppl. They comp'd our taxi from the hotel after finding out our master shower was not getting hot. They made excursion accomdations for us which was such a win as I didnt have time to research and plan those. They picked us up from the hotel and had a complete package for travel to phi phi. I will say you should be specific in the type of phi phi tour. As tour was with w a huge group on a speed boat. I would have rather a small group on a longtail boat

It was acceptable as we got a discount for being out of season
The Aleenta Hotel is just at the mark but slightly misses it. It is very trendy looking and with the lack of guests, they upgraded us to a loft with pool. The pool was dirty and so we didn't spend much time in it. The social pool was nicer so we spend time there. There are no loungers only 4 beds so if you don't grab one of those you don't have anywhere to put your belongings. The spa was running a 50% off deal which made it worthwhile. I got a thai massage that really messed up my back and I also got a body wrap which was enjoyable. There were only 2 restaurants and the food left much to be desired. Other than that it is a small place with not much to do- good for honeymooners or for some quiet time I suppose. I also expected daily free yoga on the beach or something since it boasts of health and wellness. The staff was EXTREMELY attentive and pleasant. I'd go back but only for the very discounted price I paid for everything.

Great hotels
I stayed here during the low season, price was really attractive! The private pool was great, room (ocean loft) amazing, food very nice (we are french living in Bangkok, co quite picky about that), high standard breakfast. Only issue is little to do outside the hotel !

Good and Bad
Good 1. Clean resort 2. Good food at Western restaurant 3. Beautiful beach and swimming pool Bad 1. Remote location 2. Taxi charges were higher if you book through hotel. Need to give hotel contact no. Of taxi company you find yourself to get normal rates. 3. Food is overpriced for dinners and hotel charges high transport fares so forcing you to eat in resort. 4. Staff lack warmth. 5. German manager only interacts with white clients, ignored Asians.

everything are perfect except the restaurant
This is my second time visiting and I could see an improvement on service and facility aspects. However, I was quite disappointed about the service during my breakfast, they did not apologize and judged me. This is the sadness part.
