Simply amazing !
Always loved my stay with alila villas ... this was our first time at Soori... our room was really nice and comfortable view from the room is amazing ... there's minor problems with the room (broken coffee machine and patio door can't be locked) but they fixed it straight away. The staff there are very friendly and helpful and always try to make our stay more relaxing and enjoyable. Food is amazing .. we had 2 dinners there .. both are very satisfying and portion was big, flavours was amazing .. complement to the chef. one downside about this resort ... the beach is very dirty ... maybe it's rainy season and there's lots of rubbish from the nearby rivers and washed up to the shore... but it prevents us to go for walk on the beach ... and there's lots of people on motorcycle going up and down the beach sometime it can be noisy.

Over-priced prison
Remote location, views from rooms, comfortable bed
The food and drinks were extremely over-priced (for the quality). By the end of our four night stay I couldn't face eating another Club Sandwich or Chinese dumplings (the best choices from a taste perspective, which pretty much sums up the quality of the good), or pay $24 more dollar for a poorly made, watery cocktail. The staff were sweet, however the maintenance of our room declined over time (from little things like not topping up toilet paper to bigger things like leaving dirty glasses and plates sitting in the room). There were many other minor annoyances that may not have been impactful on their own, but when you're paying the amount of money for five star accommodation, plus being charged seven star prices at every turn, you begin to feel taken advantage of. We were delighted to finally leave and wish we'd made the decision to move resorts as we'd discussed after the first day. There are so many great alternatives in Bali....this is not value for money in any way, and I still can't understand who is writing the positive TripAdvisor reviews. Fair warning to all!!

Great Villas, very friendly staff but food options could do with a review
Loved falling asleep in the ocean facing villas to the sound of breaking waves. The resort is beautiful and staff extremely friendly. Two small suggestions: - the electronics in the villas are due for an upgrade. Docking stations for the old iPhone standard are not very relevant anymore. A Bluetooth connector would already go far. - the food in general was rather average and was not on par with the overall Alila experience.

Nice hotel
The staff are nice in general, the services are great and the room is stunning
It was a pleasant stay, just then it wasn't the best Staff are friendly and nice just that they are all very distantly friendly in a way that we both feel a bit too over Food are not excellent, rooms for improvement, just be aware that it's not a buffet breakfast Location wise, it's very remote, just make sure the transportation is well taken care of

luxury hotel, good for wedding stuffs
big relaxing room, atmosphere, pool
1st of all, this hotel is far from the busy areas like seminyak/kuta. but this hotel is definitely a sanctuary for couples/family for a nice relaxing holiday. rice field view is relaxing, private pool and huge room. beach is ok, black sand. there's a cliff nearby which worth going for sunset. there are plenty of villas for rice field views in Ubud for lower costs btw, but this one is good to try if you don't have a tight budget.

Peaceful, private retreat
Wholesome food, peace & quiet, service
A return visit to this peaceful retreat in an increasingly crowded and over commercialized Bali. Set on the quiet West Coast with well appointed villas with quality amenities and menu options, it is a perfect retreat to unwind. Well trained staff who understand what service should be and always ready to assist. Highly recommended!

Relaxing location
Pool villa, gorgeous spa, location
I had the room facing the mountain view and was really glad I chose this room because the pool and villa faces the field, which is really empty most of the time so I got more privacy. It was easier to suntan in the nude, vs the beach villas where people can walk along the beach and see into your villa, so therefore less privacy. And since I was there for New Year's Eve, I got to see a lot of fireworks from the villages at a distance, all night. Overall, it was the best room there is if you choose the mountain view. Plus the layout for it was much better and more comfortable.

Nice but very far from everything
The villa, the beach view and the amenities
It is a good place to be away from reality, romantic stay, but I wish they serve better quality food (and less expensive menu) if you expect us to stay all day in the villa cause we are forced to stay in the villa during our stay since it's extremely far (1.5 hr to closest civilization like seminyak) and also there are no other restaurants around. Amazingly quiet and nice peaceful beach tho. Just make sure you stay in the top villa as we can peak to the the bottom villa pool from the top villa not a very clever design.
