Good for short stay

Location, staff and TV room
We only stayed at this hostel for a short time. The room was very small and stuffy but we did choose the cheapest option available but at 25 pound sterling (including tax) think that it could have been nicer. The staff were friendly and helpful and the area is central which means you are ear all the main squares and decent restaurants. I think this could be a great hostel if they just renovated the rooms a bit. The common areas are comfortable and they do have a good wifi connection and travel information.

Could be good but too disorganised

Location, outside area, pool table.
This hostel has the potential to be great but it is badly run. The staff were friendly but during the day there is only one person running both the hostel desk and the tour agency desk, and they seem to be much more interested in the tour agency. This meant we had to wait well over an hour to complete the full check in. They had lost the key to our room meaning that although we had a private room, we had no key. The internet is pretty terrible - it doesn't reach the rooms and constantly cuts out. One night I left my coat out and in the morning it had been stolen. You could argue that it was my fault for leaving it out but you wouldn't expect a coat to be taken from a common area, extremely annoying! The good - decent common area outside with a pool table. The location couldn't be better, 2 blocks from plaza independencia. The staff are friendly (if a bit incompetent). In conclusion, I wouldn't stay here again and I can't recommend this place. They need a new manager or something to give them all a kick up the backside. We moved from Casa Pueblo as they had another booking and this was a much nicer hostel - lacks a big outside area but everything is well organised and the staff are excellent.

Great and Good food

Location, staff, atmosphere
Room was a bit smelly but we didn't spend much time there. Staff was really helpful and could arrange many different tours. BBQ and pizza night was organized during our stay and the food was SOO Good! Many travellers so the you meet a lot of nice people.
