Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Pleasant, newly opened boutique hotel in Abu Dhabi

• Newly opened • Boutique hotel • Feels like a 5 star hotel, although it is officially rated as 4 • Loft-style rooms, very different from traditional hotel rooms • Free Wireless Internet access throughout the hotel (even inside the room, although signal reception varies from room to room) • Beautiful pool-side bar and restaurant at Level 7 (go there at night, it's so nice) • An even nicer bar at the rooftop on Level 12 • Located next to the newly built Exhibition Centre • Friendly hotel staff (mostly Filipinos) • Nice LED ticker located in the lobby that shows all the latest news headlines and business stock market news • Overall, the whole hotel strives to be different, and it is.
Abu Dhabi was a place I've never been to before, so it was a challenge trying to book a decent, affordable hotel. Luckily, Aloft was newly built, and somewhat cheaper than the other hotels that were in Abu Dhabi. It's fortunate that we got to stay in this fantastic hotel. Not much complaints, everything was up to our standards. Beds were nice and soft, and the huge standing shower was a big plus (I'm not a big fan of bathtubs - I just wanna get my shower and get out of there.) Wi-Fi was quick and easy and is easily available throughout the whole hotel, from the lobby to the rooms to the rooftop bar. Staff mostly consisted of Filipinos, and although friendly, they are pretty foreign to what's in Abu Dhabi, so if you want a good tourist guide, you're better off asking a proper local.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Go to Madinet Zayed for gold and jewellery shopping, Sheikh Zayed grand mosque (the 2nd largest mosque in the world), Marina Mall and Abu Dhabi mall for shopping, and Breakwater/Corniche for interesting city views.
