It doesn't get much better than this...

The bar, the staff, the location...
To put it simply, our stay was just short of perfect. In fact the only disappointment of the trip was my attempt to stay an extra day being moved into a much more basic (but still comfortable) room. This basic room was directly above the bar so if you're not a nightowl (*read traveling drunk) or if you are a very heavy sleeper, don't stay in those cheaper rooms. We had rooms B4 and B5 - about as far from the pool as you can get on the ground floor without being harassed by playing kids in the morning, not that I saw all that many during my stay. Bottom line, the food was really good, the drinks were cheap, and the proximity to attractions is not bad. The staff was extremely friendly, fun to be around, and professionally trained to execute making us enjoy our stay perfectly. I will most certainly return and highly recommend the Alona Vida to all...

The staff.
The hotel is clean and well maintained but some of the pictures are not exactly like the ones you see on their site. The beach is not white sand very rocky, dirty w sea weed. I don't recommend to people that want to relax from the everyday stress. The place it's for divers if that's your hobby u are chosen the right spot. I think the hotel it's overpriced.

It was nice to be in that resorts close to beach

We like the fruits serve us everyday in our room.staff were accomodating friendly owner and manager
Room was nice with balcony bed quiet decent aircon is good, works well Nice smell But Wifi is poor And theres no wash let in the comfort room, every 3star hotel has a wash let for poo,but other thaan that we like our room #the restaurants was cool and the ambience is comfy, food was great staff were not really expensive unlike other restaurants here the fact that they serves it good, taste well...higher the price of the hotel room, cant afford to stay more if u buget ur money wisely we stayed there 4nights me and my husband, after 4niggts we decided to move another cheapest hotel only 1500per night...just same close to beach has balcony and quiet...but alona beach resort is great its just higher price

A Clean & Comfortable Hotel

The room was very clean! The food was descent! The location was in the heart of everything!
The hotel was very clean and comfortable! The food was better than average! I loved the location in the center of the action. Next door was a great restaurant call the Bee/Buzz Café. They had incredible homemade ice cream, with over 10 local fruit flavors. Also a nice place for breakfast! My only complaint was walking on the beach you were constantly approached by the locals trying to sell scuba diving, snorkeling trips, massage, manicures, etc. It was very annoying after being approached 20-30 times in a 1/2 mile walk. Please keep in mind when you negotiate a boat trip to scuba dive or snorkel, or dolphin watch. The price you negotiate will not include the actual snorkel, scuba equipment, or dive trip. There will be extra charges when you get to the island for snorkeling or diving. They will want more money for the masks and snorkel. They are a bit deceitful as to the actual costs. They don't tell you till after you arrive on the little island! I did scuba dive one dive. My desire was to see sea-turtles. I did manage to see about 8 of them; as well as lots of fish....but I was disappointed in the lack of colorful coral. I experienced much better diving out of Puerto Princessa, Palawan. Make sure you see the Tarsier Monkey, the rope bridge, and the butterflies. They are all close together. I didn't experience the Zip time!

Satisfactory not great. Good location and rooms.

The location for island hopping is excellent, the rooms are spacious and clean.
A satisfactory stay. There is a general apathy amongst the staff, management and even live band. No phone in the room as they require you to contact them on skype. Which ok if you have tech and wifi is working.
