Best experience in Macau

Staffs are very kind and considerate. Glorious view in room. Free mini bar.
Although some may take the lack of shuttle bus servise as the only weakness, bus stops are just around the hotel. Besides it only cost about 40-50MOP to travel through the bridges by taxi. Furniture in room is a bit aged, but the view in room and the service they provided were beyond expectation thus compensated everything. The only thing we regret is that we stayed here for one night-- why didn't we stay for at least two nights! BTW, they require a deposit of 1000MOP per room when check in.

A spectacular hotel in a fabulous city

Waterfront view, Spa & room comfort
My stay was fabulous. I love this hotel. It's a very nice hotel with affordable unbeaten price. The room takes it all especially the waterfront view room. It has a very spacious room, cozy design and comfortable bed and lovely bathroom. I also enjoyed the spa and the swimming pool, amazing. Really a must try hotel for anyone.

An absolute must stay .

attention to detail , comfort and the view from our room on the 36th floor was amazing overlooking Macau .
From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty . express check in . Remembered our names and what floor we were on . constantly catered to our needs . Room service was outstanding and the in room breakfast, service and food was perfect . Our room was super clean, huge and above comfort. Overall this Hotel/Casino was Amazing . They have a pool on the 16th floor which is a must to swim in and is Forbes Magazine rated. Also have a cocktail bar on the 38th floor( top floor ) but it was undesirable as our drinks appeared to be mixed somewhere else in the hotel and expected better. This place is a must stay and only a couple of KLMS from the Cotai strip, sometimes a little smaller is better. Unreal!! Glen the manager really is a step above.

Luxurious stay

Luxurious room, beautiful pool and friendly service
When you arrive at Taipa Ferry Terminal, you might feel disappointed as you would see many shuttle buses to the different hotels but none to Altira. The only way to the hotel unfortunately is via cab. Any unhappiness though will be gone once you see the room. When you step into the room, the first thing to notice is the full length glass window offering a superb view of the Macau island. A few more steps in and you will marvel at the amount of space in the room. Other than a king-sized bed, there is a large bathtub with a separate rain shower, a walk-in closet, a long work desk and a living area with a comfortable sofa. Quite a contrast to the hotel room in Hong Kong that I had just come from. The hotel also offers free soft drinks in the mini-bar as well as free in-house movies. The indoor infinity pool as well as the jacuzzi in the changing room are definitely worth checking out. Be warned though that all these comforts may result in you staying in the hotel the entire day and not going out.
