Good location and large room with balcony

good sized rooms with big bathrooms, good location on riverside and near palace, nice rooftop bar.

Amanjaya was a nice place to stay in Phnom Penh, situated midpoint on the riverside area and so lots of bars and eating places nearby. The receptionists were welcoming and helpful. The rooms themselves are big and particularly liked having a big balcony overlooking the temple and river. Breakfasts were included and good in size although not usually very hot! The bar on the roof was a good place to relax and watch the sun go down. We ate in K West, the restaurant, one night which was OK if a little soul less! Altogether, I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again when next in Phnom Penh.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Definitely worth visiting the genocide museum and killing fields for a harrowing insight into Khmer past.. For food, visit cafe metro a short walk to the left on the river..

Bathroom, bedroom, river view are all nice. Good restaurant with many delicious western food and there is a pub at the roof top which gives a very romantic and fresh feeling of the river view especially when you go with your sweetheart.

Great French style boutique hotel The rooms are large with a huge bathroom with separate bath and shower. Rooms on the riverside have a great view of the daily life on the river. The hotel is within walking distance to heaps of restaurants and local markets and also a short walk to the Saturday/Sunday night markets with local foodstall and handicrafts. Breakfast is served in a cafe adjacent to the hotel and was terrific although the staff spoke limited English.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Killing Field well worth a visit and make sure you watch the video in the theatre room.

this hotel is centrally located. you are close to all the major tourist attractions like the royal palace and the monuments. there are plenty of restuarants and attractions within walking disane. however, the bed we had was extremely hard and difficult to sleep on. there is a great rooftop bar to look over the city. the breakfast that was offered was ok.

Best Location in Phom Penh

Location, Spacious Rooms

The Amanjaya is my favorite hotel in Phnom Penh. The Price may be high by compared to other four star hotels but one gets consistant value from the Amanjaya. The rooms are large and th2y are done in a collonial, cambodian style that is pleasant and functional. The staff is excellent and shows much attention to detail. The location on the riverfront and one block from the Royal Palace is the best of any hotel in Phnom Penh.

Only stayed a couple of days here, but the hotel is perfectly located and the staff are very friendly, arranging everything for you without any fuss. Room was huge with great views of the river. Would stay here again. I didn't use the hotel facilities, but the restaurant did a great breakfast.
