Convenient to the metro, La Fourche, Bouchant, and Guy Moquet stations are all a short walk away. Ambassadeur Hotel Paris is blessed with friendly staff and a quiet neighborhood. While the metro connects to the city center in a few stops, it's also possible and pleasant to explore the area on foot. The Sacre Coeur in less than 30 minutes away, and there are grocery stores, food stalls, and other small businesses all with a few minutes of the hotel. Accommodations here are basic, clean, and secure, and English-speaking staff members are happy to help with directions and advice.

It was ok.. the hotel location is far from the tourist spots.. before you arrive in the hotel you have to pass some garbage places.. but its a good price anyway.. shower room is very very small..

Really good hotel

Clean and very friendly staff. Unfortunately prices fluctuate very often so i couldn't book it for extra days. But its really decent hotel.

Horrendous. Staff not polite at all. No service. Rude manners. Phone was not working. Lift very uncomfortable. Room too tiny and not cleaned enough throughout our stay. An overall unsatisfactory experience.

Bad first impression, needs renovation

Reception staff, quiet street, that's all...
4.3
We were checked into a room that was in dire need of a gut renovation and were moved to a better room for our 2nd and 3rd nights. The entire floor for our first night had partially completed repairs and a strong musty/ moldy smell, likely due to the severely stained and worn carpeting throughout the halls. They charge for wifi, which rarely worked properly, which is rediculous considering most cafes offer free wifi for only the cost of an espresso. The manager was not very helpful in regard to our issues and offered no compensation for our very regrettable first night or for the poorly functioning wifi. The reception staff was kind and courteous.

It may not feel so good to stay for one night, however, situation improved as we started to adapt there. The hotel is near to supermarkets, so there is not a problem to stock up. I would say the overall environment is a simple one, if you did not expect too much, it is actually okay. Besides, the hotel needs like 5 mins walk to metro station, it is not too convenient actually. To conclude, with such reasonable price, the entire staying is also reasonable.

Quaint little hotel

Cosy, friendly place.
7.3
The hotel is located within the greater Paris area. Transportation to and from are adequate. The staff is in general friendly. But some areas of this somewhat aged hotel need more upgrading. The area restaurants are adequate. Breakfast OK but not too fancy. The place is clean and the room we had was a good size. Would consider staying there again.
