more of a budget hotel charged as a 5-star one

Big room; big room; big rooms
Little to no facility; poor to useless staff; chaotic at breakfast time

Nice Old Hotel, Hard to get to

Breakfast was lovely, staff friendly, nice artwork/decor, fitness room
Nice old hotel nestled deep in the hills of cork. It's in great proximity to restauranta and nightlife by foot, but pretty scary to get to by car. Roads are extremely narrow. It took us no time to get to blarney castle and cobh in the same day! It was a great central location and i was very pleased by how friendly the staff was-would recommend!
Restaurant Tip: If youre looking for a nice pub...LV is nearby and hosts live music often. Great beer and great prices.

Health club quiet

Good sized room, friendly staff
We got to enjoy the health club basically on our own. The sauna and spa were both quiet. The staff gave us a massive map and good directions to the centre of town, which was a 10min walk down and an 8 Euro cab ride home from town.
