Second Time Even Better

The religious activities, the position in the rice fields, the friendships with other spiritual travelllers
8
6am rise for morning chanting followed by the fire ceremony then neokundalini yoga practise followed by breakfast - usually a delicious assortment of Balinese and homemade breads. If not in Ubud centre, you can join 12 noon chanting then a dip in the mineral pool or an afternoon relaxing in the sun or in the library or a walk down to the villages or in to town. Then 6pm is evening chanting followed by the occasional program for foreigners of kirtan singing or a guided meditation. Just love this kind of tourism in such a setting.

Ashram experience and good yoga

Ashram activity, interesting guests, affordable yoga
6.3
We were not sure what to expect and found a pleasant experience in tranquil surroundings. The staff were friendly as were fellow guests. There was a kitchen to use for making tea and breakfast and a small restaurant run by the locals serving very delicious food. The room was basic and clean byte the kitchen needs some servicing. We came for the daily yoga activity which was in a lovely new bamboo facility. We also experienced the full moon ceremony that was very interesting and moving. I recommend tjise experience gore anyone on their spiritual journey in Bali.

Quiet place for relaxing

I liked the ashram very much but it is far from the village center. You need to find a ride to get in the village and back. There are too many dogs to take a walk.

it was new experience while stay in an this spiritual accomadation. They offer the yoga, meditation and chating class. And they just accept a vegetarian inside. The christal water pool was also another thing in this place. Clean, quite and comfy place I can summarize.

A Piece of Heaven

A serene spiritual place for private spiritual retreat
7.3
Some kilometres away from the main action of Ubud is this place of spiritual retreat found by accident after my money was stolen while looking for something affordable for the days left in Bali. This was worth more than any money for the experience of solitude and peace. It has a lovely setting among rice fields and a beautiful temple to the Divine Mother. The garden is lovely and so is the healing pool with water filtered through crystals. You join chanting and yoga in the mornings and chanting only at noon and in the evening. Hindu rituals are performed such as the morning fire ceremony. At night it is so peaceful, no noisy bars, cars, no tourist hype, just quiet and the padi frogs and you see the stars and the fireflies everywhere around you. It is a place of great healing energy and I will return for a long stay - I hope.
