Dirty Room, Selfish Staff

Location, Pool
Our stay there was a nightmare! The head staff was the worst. 1. When we arrived at 3 pm, our rooms were not ready to check-in. 2. The rooms were stingy and dirty esp. the floor and the couch. There was a shampoo bottle of the previous customer in our bathroom and no toilet paper. 3. We can the reception to asked for towels as there were none in our room. The answer was go get it from the maid by yourself. 4. At night abut 10pm, there was a swamp of bees in our bedroom and bathroom. We called the reception. She told us that we have to wait for her staff. He was out for dinner and din not come back yet. About 45 mins, a guy came to our room and sprayed DDT (insecticide) without informed. Luckily we already packed our stuff ready to leave. They insisted us to sleep in the room they just sprayed DDT and said it was not harmful. We asked them for a new room or to help us find someplace. The head staff replied to us immediately that there was no room available anywhere. We searched and found a couple of places vacant and left that hell stat. Please traveller, do not stay here. I am Thai and I don't want your vacation in my home country become the worst one.

Andamanee Boutique Resort

Serene surrounding, strong flow of water shower and caring staff
Overall, I'm happy with my stay except that the small road leading to the hotel is pretty dark at night. However, I must commend that the staff were very friendly and helpful although shorthanded.

I will stay somewhere else next time

Nice pool, transport to beach
It's just a normal hotel. But there was little staffs working. They didn't clean up my room during my stay there and they told me they will only change my towels every 2 days (which I find it funny). There was a unkept pond in the resort too.... A lot of mosquito and I ever catch a cockroach in the shower....

Thailand's Own Faulty Towers - Avoid, Avoid, Avoid
If you are considering this hotel, I urge you to read this review. Please don't brush off this review as "crazy." This hotel is crazy. If you're pressed for time, here's a quick synopsis: 1- absent and/or belligerent staff 2- non-existent services and amenities 3- remote and isolated, exacerbated due to #2 4- reservations unknown My friend and I booked this hotel for the first two nights of a 5 night stay in Krabi, and I'm very glad we only booked 2 nights, and wish we'd booked just 1, or preferably, zero. I want to make it clear that we didn't arrive straight off a plane from Canada, we had been travelling for 3 weeks in Thailand and Myanmar/Burma, so our expectations were very adjusted, let's just say. We were happy to check out. Another trip to the kitchen was of course in order to get service. To be clear, the hotel looks like it was very nicely designed, but repairs have been on the cheap and it is going downhill from that perspective. The isolation would be okay, if the hotel wasn't a complete disaster. If it had a functional restaurant. If it had a bar that was ever open. If the minibars were stocked. If you were able to find a member of staff. If you were permitted to have clean towels without being accosted. It's a Thai version of 'Fawlty Towers,' and the worst hotel I can remember staying at.

Quiet relaxing place

Clean rooms, big swimming pool
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly. The pool was great. It's about a 5-10 minute drive to the beach and away from the traffic. We will visit again.

not good location, pictures don't reflect reallity

first time when i and my friends was absolutely disappointed
The pictures do not reflect the reallity - the showers cubicles and toilets are dirty, furniture are decrepit. The aеmosphere is not like in a hotel but like you are a guest of termagant/vixen - who put her nose in everything you do. The location is far away from the beach and you need to wait for a taxi. Breakfasts are very frugal. Good thing - the weather and the sun.

Nice hotel but far from town

Beautiful swimming pool
we spent a night in andamanee hotel, the breakfast is great. we choose this hotel because we notice that the airport transfer is available by the hotel. later on hotel staff informed us that it is available, but you have to pay for it. what a joke!

Mediocre hotel, argumentative staff

good selection of books to borrow
This hotel doesn't qualify as a resort, more as a hostel. When my wife & I visited (August), it was in an off-season hibernation state. Room smelled moldy and refrigerator was unplugged to save electricity. Pool bar was closed. The entire resort was completely dark and abandoned after sunset. At 11pm there was no guard or staff on service to help even with emergencies. Since the resort is far from town in the middle of woods, and has an open gate, we didn't feel safe. Hotel room had an unplugged phone, and no instructions how to contact staff. During the day, the two female managers were unpleasant & argumentative. They impolitely scolded us for ordering too much food from the breakfast menu, and for leaving AC on in the (musty) room during the day. They forgot about our wake-up request.
