Hotel Description

Everything about Angkor Sayana Hotel & Spa reflects the modern living face of the ancient Khmer culture, a culture that is steeped in a tradition of making visitors feel genuinely welcome. From the warmth and sincerity of the smile to the sharing of their efforts to ensure guests service is a unique experience, true hospitality is second nature to the gentle peoples of Cambodia. The name Sayana, meaning the bed of the King, sits in harmony with guests expectations. Ancient kings were asked to recline on the Sayana instead of the Kre, or bed. Combine the service ethics with the spacious rooms and French colonial architecture of a bygone era in a hotel that is ideally positioned in the heart of the tourist precinct, and you have the answer to your Cambodian adventure accommodation needs.

Wow what a find!

Location, staff, food!!
This a a beautiful hotel tastefully decorated with extensive timber features. The comfortable rooms have great facilities, some with balcony overlooking the river. Handy location, walk to everything - Pub Street and various markets. However, the hotel restaurant offers it's own gourmet fare, expansive buffet breakfast and simply delicious lunch and evening dining options, you won't want to leave. Aussie managed to perfection. The staff at this establishment could teach the rest a thing or two. The only place to stay in Siem Reap.

Perfect place to explore Siem Reap

The staffs' attitude and helpfulness. The size of the rooms. The location by the river.
I stayed with a friend for three nights just near the start of Chinese New Year. Upon arrival we were offered various tours which could be organised. People visiting Siem Reap are usually going to Angkor Wat. The staff made it clear they could help Organise a driver, guide etc. They were not pushy about this - just helpful. The room was spacious, nice bath tub and the balcony view was really nice. The food at breakfast is what you would expect in Cambodia - you can't complain about the choice. They cooked eggs to order and there was endless coffee. I cannot praise the standard Of service from the staff enough. All of them were helpful, humourous and kind. On our check out day we needed to book bus tickets to Battambang many people were checking out already. It was busy yet the staff helped us book the tickets, secure our luggage and give the bill without seeming impatient or annoyed. They had so many people to deal with but their positive attitude never faltered. The pool is very small but catches the sun nicely. They also have drink and meal deals. The food in the hotel Is decent but of course there are plenty of options outside. I would not hesitate to stay again.
