Great location - right on the main street.

Staff went "above and beyond" for us. Our breakfast was cooked to order.
New Name: Memoire d'Angkor (still under renovations but they should be done soon). Their new plans include a coffee bar and art gallery, and an improved outdoor pool. I'd like to go back and see how things turn out.

Hotel still under construction

Good Location, Friendly staff
The other posts are correct the hotel is under construction and is turning into a boutique hotel under a different name so I'd recommend staying some where else.

Friendly staff but renovations were inconvenient

Large rooms and friendly staff
The location was great (a short walk from the night markets and restaurants etc...) and the staff were very friendly however the renovations were very intrusive. The workmen were putting up scaffolding on our windows and playing loud music. The work started at 8am and finished at 5pm. When booking we were informed we would not be inconvienced.

Friendly staff

Good location. Can walk to pub street or get tul tuk for $2.
the only negative was that it is currently undergoing renovation to be upgraded to a 4 star. we were not aware of this before booking. the pool was therefore out of action and there was a lot of noise. the staff are extremely freindly and lovely people though and when work finishe it should be a lovley place to stay.

Nice place but spoilt a little by renovations

room size and value for money
I really liked the room at this hotel. It was huge, quiet, clean and comfy. Bathroom enormous too! However, renovations were occurring which included some noise and meant the pool was out of action. One of the main reasons for booking here. Offered transit to another hotel with a pool not far away but not the same when you can't walk back to your room after a dip. I would stay again but would check first. Close to old town centre, short (10 min walk) or $1 motodop.

dishonesty - overhaul in the hotel!

big and clean rooms, pretty handmade furniture the deluxe rooms, good
There was a small discount on Agoda (our children stayed in this hotel 6 month ago, so we know the average prices) - not huge one, just like because of the low season. But it turned out, that the hotel is running for the overhaul or renovation, so there were only 10-12 guests that night! During the daytime they pounded, sawed, drilled, strobe, scrubbed, and made other loud noise that sounded like it was just in our room. We couldn't have a rest the midday when returned for a break from Angkor :( The pool also wasn't available (there were crouds of builders around it and a lot of building materials lying in mess). Also they, who specialised on the Angkor's tourists, had no idea about "take away" breakfast for those, who are going to watch the day-spring in Angkor. So do not pay for the breakfast beforehand if you are going to catch the aurora.
