peaceful palce
chill place
Aochalong resort is about 20 minute drive from patong beach which is the main tourist place, you can rent a scooter at hotel or just outside it for very cheap and travel with it as u please. The road to aochalong villa is not in very good shape but thats not really a problem, they have free shuttle service to the main road, also easy to order a taxi from the reception. The breakfast was medicore, they got omelet, some fruit, toasts and the basic stuff. Its a very quiet place, but you should really take the VILLA if you come here, the rooms are just medicore and quite small. All in all the place is nice and the manager Steve is very helpful

The hotel is not so nice as it seems.
no pros
They have a beautiful pool just in front of the beach, but when the tide dropped down we could see lots of rubbish. Since we arrived there the staff was confused and did't inform us about the breakfast or any other facilities in the hotel. I had to keep asking them, which was uncomfortable to me. The room is regular, but the air conditioning was too noise and dusty. The wifi is also not good. At last, I had an intoxication after eating a salad at the hotel's restaurant. My trip to Phuket was almost ruined because of that.

Quiet hotel with big rooms
"Green" quiet hotel with many features
"green" quiet hotel with many features like two pools, spa, massage, restaraunt, parking and etc. rooms are good, have everything what needed but nothing extraordinary. excellent breakfast. cons: as for me, price are little bit expensive than average price in phuket. location is not good (there is no beaches for swimming nearby) and chalong pier is not near as it may seem. small road to the hotel doesn't have asphalt, wtf?

Lovely hotel with amazing pools
The two pools
Really nice hotel, clean, nice clean rooms. Two well kept pools. If you want to rent bikes, cheaper to rent from one along the main road for 150-200Bht

Nice hotel and a good location
Brreakfast was great and the rear pool location was really nice
Well worth the price and very relaxing. They has some weird policies that really put your back up such as trying to charge £10 for any towels left by the pool.

Nice hotel, in the middle of nowhere
Nice seaviews, pool
The hotel is almost inaccessible. From the main road, you have to navigate a 500 meter dirt road, which is almost impassable during a rainstorm. We had thought, since the hotel was only 400 meters from the Chalong pier, that it would be in walking distance along the beach. Unfortunately, there is no beach, and no way to access the pier along the shore without a boat. So, to get to town, you have to backtrack along the dirt road, out to the main road from Phuket Town -- a distance of about 2 kilometers. Taxis are available, but charge a premium to come down the dirt road to the hotel.

great hotel, quiet, right on the bay, great view
quiet, secluded, great staff who are friendly and helpful and great pools - two - one facing the bay
this resort and spa is absolutely wonderful, you would not think, from initial arrival, in the dark, that it is much, but when it is day time, you will be amazing, beautiful setting with lots and lots of flora and fauna, great restaurant/bar that overlooks the bay, where all the yatchs are and of course a view of one of the pools......that rooms are very clean, modest, but clean had a room with a view of one of the pools and the balcony looked out over the tops of the buildings, i was on the 5th floor, had a view of 'big budda', a top of a mountain... eventually went to see Budda. he is very impressive up close... the staff are wonderful and friendly - Steve, the service manager, is originally from UK and is very helpful of places to see, tours to take, how to get around Chalong.... Chalong area is beautiful.... did my power walks about 6:00 a.m. still slightly dark in December, and never felt i was at risk.... just another person out doing their 'walk' would recommend this hotel/spa you not be disappointed.

secluded. quiet yet close to everything
staff, cleanliness of room, pools, spa
wonderful resort and spa, thai massage is for one hour and only costs B500, which is about $20.00 depending on currency exchange.... very quiet, staff is great, breakfast buffet is great with wide selection of things to eat, restaurant view of one of the pools and the bay, where all the yatchs are. staff is very accommodating and friendly and helpful... even when i saw some tourists been rude to the staff, the staff always smiled and obliged the 'demanding' tourist, was quite embarrassed that a 'tourist' would behave this way to Thai people. would recommend this resort and spa
