On arriving the receptionist was not that all obliging. When we went to the Lift area these areas had a drainage or ewerage stench. THe pool and dining areas are full of Mosquitos. The room we received was only basic considering we requested and paid for a superior room...Vastly overpriced. The noise from the restaurant across on the beachfront was LOUD until the morning.. No sleep. The receptionist was notb to clever and on asking for an extra pillow said we could not have one... however on our return she produced a pillow.. The hotel is in the wrong area and is a 5 minute walk over a slight incline to Ao Nang beach. I forget the name of the actual beach however it was a 'dump of a beach' with the street and resident drainage spilling out onto the beach. Sorry Cannot recommend. It may be suitable for backpackers only. and Vastly overpriced.

Beyond expectation

Staff are very helpful and friendly, Price was cheap. Big rooms
We stayed a total of 4 nights at this hotel. Upon check in, we were greeted by friendly staff. They were very helpful as well. And good knowledge of the krabi and the surrounding island. The room is big and the bed was comfortable. Did not manage to use the pool though. And the bfast staff was simply amazing.

We arrived late afternoon and the reception seemed to have little knowledge of what needed to be done - having said that we were taken to our room. Our steps echoed through the halls . . . there was general din around the place. The room itself looked acceptable - it was only when we lay down on the bed did we notice an odour emanating from the sheets and pillows - lumpy pillows. The mattress was also smelly and very uncomfortable. We asked for an extra blanket/duvé/comforter and were brought a 3' x 5' cloth that probably served the Japanese navy in 1942. No-one in our family is of that size. The two towels were no more than rags, rags with holes . . . and we were told that we couldn't have an extra towel. The bathroom - better left unmentioned We decided to escape the place as early as possible in the morning, but some words must be said about the night. Aside from the almost suffocatingly stuffy air, the noise was exceptional - the doors were constantly slammed by the vast majority Mainland China guests - there was zero noise insulation and the typical loud discussions by said Mainland China guests were enough to keep us awake until the wee hours. To add to the noise, there is a disco/nightclub close by which managed to give the mainland China tourists a run for their money in the noise stakes. We arrived at the breakfast area exactly on opening time and were extremely rudely told that the coffee was not ready and we should wait until seven . . . it was 07.10 at this stage. The breakfast area is right next to a revoltingly disgusting 'river', full of mosquitoes and rubbish/trash. I had one cup of tea, my wife also and when my daughter went to make herself one piece of toast we were quite rudely told our room covered only two people and we would have to pay for one piece of toast despite neither my wife nor I eating. Ah - wifi is simply awful. The reason it is simply awful is that it seldom worked. Had it worked more it would have been a
