2nd stay here and very last. Ever!

Helpful baggage handling staff. Good size rooms
Arrived on Valentines Night with partner and was given twin beds room against my request!! Was told was fully booked but after 30 mins of complaints they magically found us a room with double bed! Only problem with that was its location. Unbelievably it was so far from the reception/pool & gym that we ended leaving soon after. Won't be staying here again! Thanks for nothing.

Over rated

Big pool, good room size and location
The big pool was probably the best part of the hotel - does need some maintenance though. Room size was good but same, room required more maintenance as the toilets kept breaking down. Had a compulsory Christmas Eve dinner which was expensive and absolutely terrible. The food and drinks were awful and ran out quickly and the activities were not well thought out (I.e. Throwing balls to knock over cans straight into the direction of the diners, which was eventually rectified). Staff which we had most contact with were not very helpful and it would also be good if they could understand English better. Overall, could get a better bang for your buck somewhere else.

Amateurish operation

Room, Pool, Fairly Quiet
While the room/pool area were good, save the loud music morning till night, the Naga Purna is lacking. The reception is small add-on off the road and you access the deluxe blocks via the car park and side entrance. Looked an afterthought and lacked security, while there are professional-looking hotels nearby with cheaper rooms that are set well off the road. It is a long way from Ao Nang–too far to walk every day—and the free taxi every two hours is basically a ride halfway when available. So unless you have wheels or don’t mind paying over the odds for taxis, stay closer. Food was satisfactory at best, though this is the type of thing you get all over Thailand, even in 4* places. I’d read reviews about indifferent staff and put this down to the unpredictable Thai temperament. But while most staff were ok, we didn’t even get a ‘goodbye’ or ‘see you again’, let alone a ‘did you enjoy your stay’, when checking out; just sat in silence for 10 minutes while the room was checked. We speak Thai so communication is not an issue. MAIN BUGBEAR: Having to put up with the same dancy type cover music constantly blurting out from the pool bar, from 9-8! This is not an 18-30 resort in Benidorm; it is a family hotel in Krabi. There were rarely any other people in the pool, yet when asked to turn it down, it came back up a few minutes later. We moved because of this, but you cannot escape it. There was some building work nearby and annoying maintenance work on the hotel itself, but nothing dramatic. The hotel is showing signs of wear and corners were clearly cut on finishing, but this is the norm for anything below five-star Thailand-wide. Over all, we were just satisfied as the room/direct pool access made up for some shortcomings, but felt it was expensive even in low season. We would not return. There are too many other pool access options in Ao Nang such that out-of-the-way hotels like this really need to make the effort or they will not do well. 6/10

rooms were spacious
We were disappointed. Our last visit were much better. The standard of the hotel definitely has dropped. Cable TV and Wi- Fi connection was down during our stay. Breakfast not much variety of foods available.

A Budget & Cozy Resort

1. The room was huge & Spacious. 2. Pool directly to ur room double the points. 3. Room service keeps the place very clean.
Apart from all the good things mention above, there were some set backs such as: 1. couple of mosquitos inside the room. 2. Breakfast not much varieties and the menu almost the same for everyday. (Not for fussy ppl) 3. Female Frontdesk not so helpful. The guys were helpful though. 4. Swimming pool not very clean. One thing i really like about the room was tat, the air-con,fan,lightings were all control by a controller board just beside the bed. Very convenient indeed. Overall good for a budget vacation...
