Small but nice

Walk around 10 to 15 mins from railway to the hotel, it's not bad. The staffs are so nice and their English is better than I thought. The room is clean, tidy and cozy. I feel comfortable of this hotel.

Pleasant stay and Good location

Location, Eco plan, room size
This hotel is located in a convenient location near Kanda station, and room size is larger than those offered at most business class hotels. You will pay about $20-$30 more for this space, but having some where to put your luggage is a plus. The only problem I had was cigarette smoke filtering into my non smoking room. The smoking and non-smoking rooms alternate until the tenth floor, so the smoke from the smoking floors just travel up into non smoking rooms. This is a big problem in many Japanese hotels. If you suffer from Asthma, or having other health problems I would suggest requesting a room on the eleventh or twelfth floor. If you are traveling in Japan and want some where clean and comfortable to stay, I would recommend this hotel for location off the Yamanote and Chuo lines, and it is quieter than other business type hotels like the Toyoko Inn. I was asked to rate food and dining. I did not partake in these services, but the menu looked good and I saw dinners there every night. The Indian restaurant across the street was delicious, around Kanda station there is a plethora of food choices, and towards Tokyo Station there is the Coredo shopping Plaza with many good restaurant choices for every taste.

Clean, tidy, small.

Clean and tidy. Quiet location.
The hotel is in a pretty good location. Only about 5 minute walk to two main train lines. A bit tricky to find when you first get in, so come prepared with proper directions. The hotel is across the road from a convenience store and a couple of restaurants. Our room was at the back of the hotel and we had no problems with noise. The hotels is clean and tidy and so was our room. The room is very, very small. Which is fine as you are really only there for sleeping and showering if your a tourist. But it was a little irritating when trying to get ready in the morning. Someone had to stay on the bed or in the bathroom to give the other person space. The water from the shower goes everywhere so don't leave your clothes on the floor! But it's in good condition and clean. The bed is VERY hard and the pillow is like a wafer. I struggled sleeping on it but my husband didn't have toast problems even though he found it very hard as well. I think the Japanese like hard beds so that would explain it. There are no irons in the room and no wardrobe. The wardrobe was hangers on the wall behind the door and you could hire irons if you need one. These are not deal breakers but I think it's good to know. All in all it was a good stay. I think it would be good value outside of peak time. The only thing that would stop me staying again would be the hard beds.

between so-so and good

breakfast is not bad
Three subway stations around this Hotel, not really close (about 10 mins walk) if you feel really tired at the end of the day and want to walk back the hotel from one of the three station, it will be a bit far and exhausting. However, the hotel offers great breakfast, room is clean and with a not bad view, so it's a nice option if you feel like living in the east of Tokyo.

Good hotel, but not the greatest location

Nice breakfast, quiet, helpfull staff.
A perfectly decent, run of the mill hotel. Location isn't anything to get excited about, but with the Tokyo metro system at hand, that's not a big deal. Some dust on shelves, but otherwise clean. My biggest gripe was the useless wifi. Staff was nice and service minded.
