Good location but very small room for a couple
This is an interesting hotel where the first floor is a used/vintage furniture store and the rest of the 2nd to 3rd floors are rooms. Vintage desks, tables and cupboards lined up along the corridors so it felt like walking through a warehouse in a way. The room is very small; just enough to fit a queen size bed and a small table with minimal walking space. Pros: 1) Unique feel because of the vintage/used furniture littered throughout the hotel. 2) Very good location since it is only minutes walk from the Shinjuku station. 3) It is cheap. Cons: 1) There is no lift so bless you if you have a few heavy luggages with you. However, friendly female staff offered to help. 2) Small room and the vintage feel made it look dirty and old. There is absolutely no space to open your luggage. 3) Bathroom is smaller than the usual ones. 4) Bed is hard. We are frequent travellers to Japan and the above comments are made relative to other Japanese accommodation that we have tried before. We know the rooms are usually small in Japan but this one is really small.

very small but functional
very unique and funtional place. very close to shinjuku sanchome station(f line). Not recommend if u have big suitcase or lots of stuff. No lift and very very small room. Nice design. should put some airfreshener coz old stuff smell a bit strong.

Nice hipster hotel
This is a very nice place if you want a change from business hotels and meet people. The young guys running the place are great, speak good english and will definitely help you for everything. They have an inhouse "antiquity" object shop, the rooms are big enough (compared to other japan places) and decorated with style. The rooftop bar is awesome and you will definitely meet great people there. On the less side, the bathroom is tiny and could be cleaner, and the baseball training filed adjacent to the hotel won't let you sleep in the morning. But hey, you are in Shinjuku, so you don't want to sleep anyway... go there, it's cool.

Stayed semi double room
Stayed in the semi double. Small room and bathroom. Good for solo travellers but a squeeze for 2. Staff were very friendly and helpful, location was good.

I enjoyed so much.
I loved the unique and cozy interior. Staff was friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for fulfilling my needs. The room was a bit small, but there were everything I need. When I come back to Tokyo, I would stay in this hotel again. Thanks.

Great Location, Friendly Staff, Neat Space
Use Google Maps and you won't have any problems finding the accomodation - it is in a prime location, down a narrow lane of residential homes which ensure peace and quiet, but in less than 5 minutes, you will be in the thick of the action and ready to explore Tokyo from Shinjuku which is the busiest transport hub in the world. If you arrive via Narita Express and exit from the New South Exit where Takashimaya is, it is a piece of cake to locate this accomodation. The hotel has a very hipster feel but it was not pretentious. The staff were very friendly and the receptionist even helped me carry my luggage up 4 floors to my room which was very much appreciated after a long flight and train ride! I like the decor of the hotel as it provides a whole lot of character in comparison to a plain and characterless hotel. The room was clean and neat, and a daily change of towels were provided. I stayed next to the entrance of the rooftop bar and could hear every creak and squeak when the door opens and closes and obviously, the busiest times were at night - therefore if you are a light sleeper then getting some earplugs would definitely help as the walls are thin. But overall no complains as I managed to get a good night's sleep after exploring Tokyo. Accomodation in Tokyo, and particularly Shinjuku, is not cheap but this place hits the sweet spot of providing reasonable price with a great ambience. I will stay here again for my next visit to Tokyo.

Mini room with hazardous furnitures
First impression of the room was "not impressive" because the room was so small, also every corner of the furniture like bed and desk were very sharp. Especially the space of bed and desk was just beside each other. Often, due to space constraints, we had to take turn open each of our luggage.. Just imagine how small the space was! Movement was restricted, my bf and I often gets cuts on our arms and legs. Agoda did not do a great job in terms of providing actual photos of the room.. Only good location and that's it. Disclaimers, we are average size.
