'Good location'

Good location just out side city centre, freindly staff, numerous pubs and resturants nearby
7.3
Stayed 1 night for business trip. Reception is modern, staff friendly and helpful on check in. Rooms are very clean but basic. Bathroom was small but also clean. I had a hissing radiator in my room all night, but easily fixed by turning it off. Numerous restaurants close by argentine steak house, Akbar curry, TGIF, Ask, Garden House, Beefeater , all within 2 mi walk. Would stay again

An ok place, decent value for money

Location, Quite close to the edge of Birmingham
8.3
The Hotel was fairly basic and the rooms seemed a bit like flats converted, we had a random house door on our room. The staff were friendly and helpful giving advice on cabs and buses to Birmingham centre. Nothing massively exciting about the hotel. The parking was free. This was just a stop off point for us, so there were not any reasons for a more than basic stay.
Shopping Tip: Birmingham Bull ring and the surrounding shops are superb for shopping and the Good Burger Company next to the Bull Ring is fantastic!! Get a Bus in from the Hotel, will save you a fortune in Parking.

Good for a night as price was good, quite far out of city, clean, furnishings worn, bed lumpy and deco dated but I liked it, it could be really lovely.
