Whether in the Midlands on business or pleasure, the Apollo Hotel is an ideal choice, with over 120 well-appointed rooms and executive suites, superb corporate and function facilities, and an in-house restaurant serving a fine choice of international cuisine. Large scale events are a specialty of the hotel, and it's a popular venue for wedding receptions and other formal affairs, where something a little special is required. For those touring the UK, Birmingham is an ideal base to explore the Midlands from, and visitors should be sure to visit the Cotswalds, Warwick Castle, and the historical town of Stradford Upon Avon - the birthplace of William Shakespeare, all easily reached from Birmingham. 'Good location'

Good location just out side city centre, freindly staff, numerous pubs and resturants nearby
Stayed 1 night for business trip. Reception is modern, staff friendly and helpful on check in. Rooms are very clean but basic. Bathroom was small but also clean. I had a hissing radiator in my room all night, but easily fixed by turning it off. Numerous restaurants close by argentine steak house, Akbar curry, TGIF, Ask, Garden House, Beefeater , all within 2 mi walk. Would stay again

Nice room and facilities

Frequent bus service to town centre
good quality modern room, with kettle, iron, hairdryer and a small television with a limited number of domestic and international tv channels.
Hotel Feature Tip: Bus to the town centre is 1.90 - no change given

An ok place, decent value for money

Location, Quite close to the edge of Birmingham
The Hotel was fairly basic and the rooms seemed a bit like flats converted, we had a random house door on our room. The staff were friendly and helpful giving advice on cabs and buses to Birmingham centre. Nothing massively exciting about the hotel. The parking was free. This was just a stop off point for us, so there were not any reasons for a more than basic stay.
Shopping Tip: Birmingham Bull ring and the surrounding shops are superb for shopping and the Good Burger Company next to the Bull Ring is fantastic!! Get a Bus in from the Hotel, will save you a fortune in Parking.
