Sensational views

The views, the lovely room and the pool.
We had the most relaxing stay at Aquaterrace, occupying the two rooms on the top floor and able to go from room to room due to the connecting door on the balcony. The pool was gorgeous, the views spectacular and the location handy to the nearby beach for great snorkeling amongst wonderful coral just off shore. The staff were really friendly and helpful, breakfast was freshly prepared from a selection on the menu. The restaurant serves Indonesian and Japanese food. We ate in two out of our three nights and had a delicious meal each time. We want to go back to Aquaterrace again and would wholeheartedly recommend it to those wanting a comlpete escape.

Beautiful View, Lovely Food

Japanese fusion menu, pool view, room size
My husband and I really enjoyed our time at Aquaterrace. The staff were very kind and the quiet atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for. The hotel is rather far from the 'town', but we had everything we needed there and my husband was able to arrange a pick-up and drop-off when he wanted to go diving. Thanks Aquaterrace :)

Nice view!

nice view, friendly staffs, clean room
Our stay at this hotel was great. The view from the room was so beautiful. the owner and the staffs are very friendly and informative. The food is a bit pricey but the taste is ok. No wifi in the room. Have to go to the restaurant area to get connected. Annoyed with that. This hotel is not located on the beach. Have to walk +/- 5 minutes to the nearest beach area.

Sanctuary of sea, solitude and serenity

I loved the view from my room and terrace. The seafood was outstanding at the hotel restaurant. The mixture of Balinese and Japanese created a peaceful atmosphere.
This was the best place I stayed in Indonesia. It was not expensive but it was perfect. Clean and simple, Awesome sea view. Small well maintained swimming pool. The food served was fresh and delicious. I had a facial and can recommend the in-house spa. I hope I can go back to Aquaterrace soon.

Best B&B in Amed

Quiet, sunrise, sea
I only stayed for one night but loved every minute of it. Staff was excellent and friendly, the view is breathtaking and the room is spacious and clean - minimalistic. Loved it!

Perfect view and nice pool

View, delicious foods, nice pool
I was so lucky i got the terrace room in Aquaterrace, because this villa is always fully booked. The terrace room is located in a high landscape, so i got the beautiful ocean view. The room is clean, but i found some lizards inside, and it's little bit scared me. Eriko, one of the owner, gave me surprised as i had my birthday when i was there. I was so happy for what she did. It was so meant for the guess :) Despite the lizards i've found, i would love to stay in Aquaterrace if i come back to spend time in Amed which is actually i'll be in Amed again by the end of May. But unfortunately, all rooms in Aquaterrace are not available anymore :( So i have to search another villa for May. For those who wanted to spend a relax holiday in Amed, i recommend Aquaterrace for your stay.

Peaceful, beautiful ocean view, yummy food

FOC, the staff will motorbike you up to a nearby shipwreck and also to a local store. Nice cafes and restaurants within walking distance. Pleasant massage spa onsight.
We enjoyed our relaxing 2 nights at Aquaterrace in Amed. The hotel seems a little more run down than some previous reviews suggested. Many of these issues could be easily remedied with better care to detail with maintenance and cleaning. A blocked bathroom drain (with filth and hair of previous guests) meant a flooded room with water across the whole bathroom and most of the bedroom, peeling paint here and there etc. The owner and his wife seemed lovely and she is a fabulous cook. We definitely recommend the cafe. But the owners were not there until a day after we arrived, and the rest of the staff hardly said boo to us until they were there, so it didn't seem so welcoming to start with...

Very relaxing stay

Views of the sea, relaxing by the pool, friendly staff and service
A very good stay. The room was spotlessly clean, with large shower room and ensuite. We were diving for a couple of days, and in between the hotel organised a fishing boat for some snorkelling and a short trip down the coast. The hotel is very much family run, and the food and service were excellent - especially the fruit pancake at breakfast. The one morning, we just relaxed by the pool - with complimentary coffee/tea. The menu isn't huge, but has a good selection of local and Japanese meals which are all freshly cooked, at good prices. We ate in the restaurant area all three evenings we were there!

Aquaterrace Amed the best hidden gem in Bali

The fabulous view, almost like in Greece. The warm hospitality and the most beautiful under water coral 5mins motorbike ride from our hotel door : )
I love my stay in Aquaterrace Amed. Very small boutique hotel almost like staying at someone's house. Very hospitable host especially the hotel owners and their wonderful driver. Most beautiful view out from our terrace : )
