Nouveau design and relaxed sophistication merge at this chic establishment in Prague 2 district, just outside the main tourist zone. Built in the early 1900's, the Arcotel Teatrino Hotel confirms the brand's good standing in the design world with calm contemporary rooms offset by one of the grandest dining halls to ever grace a hotel. Interiors play up the building's nouveau history with sleek black upholstery and monochromatic bathrooms, while the bar and restaurant are Prague attractions in their own right; the dining area was once a theater, hence the name, and guests are invited to eat breakfast in its cool, cavernous space until noon on weekends. The historical sights are within a 25-minute walk from here, ten minutes by tram, with a tram stop just a few doors down.
