Nice hotel in Vegas

Good location, free wifi, friendly staffs
Nice hotel in a perfect location. Nice view from room. Buffet restaurant rather expensive and always long wait for table. A short walk to other buffet restaurants in other hotels may be rewarding.

Bed was really comfortable, Nice sized bath
The hotel was not bad but was the only let down on our vacation. We have visited Vegas four times in the past 18 months, staying at the Encore & Cosmopoliton resorts previously. Encore & Cosmopolitan resorts were exceptional and made every second of past vacations enjoyable & set a very high standard to any resort we plan to stay at in the future wherever we go in the world. For out trip to Vegas in December 2015 we decided to stay at Aria resort for a change.. Upon arrival no one assisted us out of the taxi, no one greeted us with the usual "Welcome to Aria sir." ..Nothing!! Upon walking into the lobby there was a large que for check in with just three out of the many desks being operated from. Once checked in we walked to the room and the distance from the lift felt was like as if it was a miles away! It irritated us that much that on one ocassion we timed walking from the lift on our floor to the door of room, it took well over 2 minutes!! We can appreciate this is no ones fault and the hotel plan is big but maybe suggest more elevators around the resort??! The room was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable! The first night, the light switch surround fell off next to the bed, the bathroom had an bad odour for the entire stay, the shower had a leak from the shower housing (did not bother us, but not a good impression for this sort of resort) The remote control for TV only worked from one point of the room which was annoying when lying in bed. However the room cleaning services were great! The main issue we had was a fixed $29 per day resort fee we were unaware of upon check out, The lady on the desk struggled with questions about the fee and told me "I booked & paid for the room only & not the facilities of the resort I.e swimming pools" which we didn't use any of anyway. When leaving with our cases a bell boy was at the exit doors we approached & didn't assist to open the door when we acknowledged each other and watched us struggle Left with a bad taste
