Clean Room, Comfortable Bed
It's a bit far from the main drag so you either have to walk quite a bit or take a Tuk-Tuk. The staff barely speaks English. The pool was closed for "renovations" even though it wasn't mentioned in advance.

Excellent value but out of town
Cleanliness, space, no noise.
It is a lovely, modern hotel with very friendly staff. The breakfast is standard. Unfortunately the hotel itself is a bit further from the old town than we realised, but this also meant that it was quiet.

nice room and enjoyable stay
spacious room, quiet area, boutique hotel
I really enjoyed this place. The family that runs this small boutique hotel is fantastic - really, really friendly and helpful. When we arrived, they had ended up just upgrading us so we stayed in some 'deluxe twins,' which were overly spacious with some nice decor and really comfortable bedding. The rooms were real clean, the A/C cranked and was quiet, and the bathroom seemed really 'luxurious' (large and bathtub). The main grounds were real nice and homey and the pool looked great (we unfortunately spent no time at it though). Breakfast was included and was really delicious. Maybe we were there at an off-time, but I also didn't see anyone else. I felt like we had the whole place to ourselves with personal service. I didn't find it to be an issue, but I could see the only downside to be that it was a little removed from the old quarter. It was either a tuk-tuk ride to the night market area or a 15 minute walk. If you want something in the heart of everything, this wouldn't be your place.

Super friendly staff, gorgeous quiet and lux room, great pool
We loved it - the second year in a row we've been there, and we'll definitely return.

A rip off for the price. No eating facilities.
The bed ? nothing else.
This is not a "Hotel" it is a Guesthouse with no facilities for meals. It is not centrally located. The staff had very little English skills and I can speak Thai and a little Loa but it was to no avail. The Internet WiFi is painfully slow or did not connect at all. I actually could not take another night of the tedium and left a day early. Which totally baffled the staff. So much so they could not comprehend "Get me a taxi please" in English or Thai, and I ended up with a TukTuk that wanted twice the correct fare for the distance I was travelling.

Nice but sleepless.
Lovely design. Small dipping pool in back. Good water pressure.
It is close enough to walk to town but finding a tuk-tuk is better. There was a new bar across the street which was roaring until at least 2:00 a.m. Everyone says Luang Prabang closes down by 11:30, but this is not true. In town would have been quieter. There is no restaurant or breakfast, and nothing really nearby. You have to get into town for breakfast. They were great at getting me to the airport (and could probably pick you up on arrival too.) There are the makings for coffe, they supply 2 bottles of drinking water and soaps/ shampoos. If sound does not keep you up, then it would be a lovely hotel for you.

Luang Prabang a great town.
Away from touristic central area; big comfortable rooms; swimming pool
Although a busy road, basement rooms very good since very quiet and very large & comfortable. Good to have a small garden & small pool to cool off in. Really good chinese restuarant opposite, also near to regular shops & bank. Only 10-15 minute pleasant walk into centre, a good thing to be apart from the mega touristic centre. Good value for money, but no breakfast or bar in the hotel. Several eating & drinking opportunities just outside.
