Filthy and squalid.
I wasn't killed in my sleep, I contracted no disease, I won't ever have to stay there again. The place is a filthy squalid disgusting establishment. Do not stay here. There we bloody stuff on the walls- yes blood! Hair all over the place, the floor hadn't been swept or vacuumed, the toilet hadn't been cleaned and the kitchen was filthy including the dishes. It wouldn't take much to improve this place- vacuum, dust and general attention to basic cleanliness. The tv works and so does the fridge. The inside of gh fridge is clean, the sheets were clean and so we're throwers. That's all that was. Stay somewhere else!

From the full broken beer bottles in the drive to the stained fold out couch and half cleaned unit overall it wasn't a pleasant exp,lucky it was only an over night stay.

Very basic but convenient
Location, Privacy and Self Contained Rooms
I had a reasonable length of stay at these apartments as I was going to a friends wedding and visiting my family for the Christmas holidays. The appearance leaves much to be desired internally and externally. It's old and run down. The rooms aren't much and the cleaning could be improved (there were spiders and their webs in the window frames on the INSIDE and pink mould in the grout of the tiles in the shower). But accepting that, the floors and kitchen were clean, the sheets and bed were clean and tidy (and comfortable) and the location in Melbourne is really convenient. It's a half hour walk to the central shopping hub of Malvern(where you can do some light shopping and there's a few supermarkets), the tram line is right on the corner so its super easy to get to and fro. There's a 7-11 right next door so you can get some basic groceries like milk etc. anytime. Once I evacuated the spiders and clean the bathroom, it was perfectly fine to stay at if you don't need much. It's self contained so you can cook you're own meals and they provide basic utensils which takes pressure off the wallet, there's air conditioning and the water pressure is decent. For me that ticks the main boxes. The actual site location is challenging - its squeezed in the back behind other apartments down a very narrow driveway and there isn't very good outdoor lighting. There were some instances coming back at night where I questioned who was around because being so close to the 7-11 with a dark driveway it can attract some interesting characters. None the less, it did the job I needed - I had no troubles at all staying there and it started to feel like home towards the end of my stay.

Was a decent stay. Could be better decorated. But fantastic staff! Accommodated our strange checkin and checkout times (cuz of flight) without complaints. Assisted in making sure my handicapped mother was on the ground floor, front parking and helpful with allowing medical equipment to be picked up even after our departure. Truly exceptionally caring staff!

You get what you pay for.
Location to the city, public transport & shopping centres
I didn't choose this property, my travelling companion did, based on her stay there 20 years ago. Nothing much had changed it seems. The 1 bedroom flat...not an apartment...was clean, but had a musty smell. The windows were stuck shut & hadn't been cleaned for a long time. The beds were ok, bathroom clean but very old & in need of a bit of tlc. Staff at checkin were friendly & helpful. We ate out & didn't use anything but the kettle, so hard to say what the amenities were like. Parking was free & on-site. There are 2 7-Eleven stores within a few metres of the complex, plenty of groceries etc for purchase. Overall, I won't be staying here again, but for those on a tight budget, it would be suitable.
