Great staff! Great room!
We were upgraded on arrival to the hotel by Sean the front of house manager, who couldn't have been more helpful. Hotel is central and the staff were very warm and friendly! Would certainly recommend!

Brilliant all tound
From the lovely girl at check in, right through to the two lovely girls at the breakfast service our stay was very good. Room was spotless, all appliances worked and the ensure was a good size. The bed provided a good nights sleep thanks to a decent size and mattress. In the restaurant that evening, although we dined very early due to attending a concert, Ziggy was discreet but attentive, suggesting also some dishes the chef was testing out in addition to the regular menu. The food was very good, at £62 for 5 courses brethren us and 2 drinks it was much better value and quality than a meal at a more known restaurant that we had recently. Would we go again? Yes for sure!

Arora stay
Speaker in the bathroom link to TV; reception looked nice; staff member Jade was lovely and welcoming
Wasn't impressed if I'm honest. When I booked I received an email with a photo of a nespresso machine, iPod docking station, bath and big room. My actual room was nothing like this, small, no added extras, no bath.. Room 606.. I think it was a disabled room to be honest. Why would a 4* hotel offer me a room like that? Completely misled from the picture I was sent on the email. Quite disappointed. Definitely not 4* standard, at least not my room... I've stayed in nicer 3* hotels.

Satisfactory Stay
I have nothing negative to say about my stay at Arora, however, from the reviews I was expecting something better than your very average hotel. The Lobby is normal, everything about the hotel is normal...not excellent. I found my room rather depressing...but couldn't put my finger on what made it so...maybe the dark brown office looking carpet or the furniture layout...Not complaining, just not the excellent experience I was expecting.

Cancellation Nightmare
Unfortunately both myself and my wife came down with illness on the day we were due to travel. Neither the Hotel or the booking agent were of much help, although possibly if we'd booked directly then the hotel may have been better. I would never use agoda again - I had to phone Thailand to speak with someone and then they never got back to me.
