Poor room amenities, very noisy
shower head out of order, replaced next morning as no one in site. Was advised no tissue box will be provided only toilet paper. Very noise toward early mornings with garbage truck.

OK but not that great
The location is pretty good, not too far from Melbourne Central. The room is clean but dull looking and quite old. If you are looking for place just to get some sleep, it could be it. However, the staff were nice and helpful. I would recommend for business trip or city sightseeing. If you wish to stay longer, places in the suburbs with connection by trams are much better.

very average
booked two bedroom appt with sofa bed in lounge.Got to appt, first thing we notice is an odd smell and very compact.Sofa bed is not a sofa bed.Just a cheap vinyl lounge that folds out which you make into bed . too small for a normal size person to sleep on.Was not happy so spoke to reception and finally changed to another appt ,same facilitites but diff layout and smell not as bad. Two small soaps for 4 people,no tissues ,one bin in appt, son slept on floor as lounge too small! Too pokey for two bedroom and 4 people!

Small but cozy room
Apartment near Queens Victoria Market within walking distance, too bad the apartment location is not in the free trams zone. Bed & pillow is very soft & comfortable, overall is nice to stay here.

Wifi charges?! really?!
I booked this apartment for 2 nights just the day before I arrived, was in a rush. Had a glance about there were 'wifi facilities' in one of my criteria in selecting places to stay. However I wasn't careful enough to notice the words 'charges apply' in a blanklet after 'wifi facilities'. When I arrived and kindly asked for wifi passwords, then I was told that charges apply. To be honest it's not about how much I'll need to pay for the wifi, it's more of a matter that this apartment's clever money-making policy regarding charges over wifi usage. Even I walk in most of the cafes and restaurants in Melbourne I can easily get wifi access for free, and the same goes for different big cities in the world (I travel across continents for work so i have a little bit of experience on this). I definitely would not make a booking with them if I had known there wasn't free wifi. It's just a very basic facility, even some 2-3 stars hotels provide free wifi too, regardless of signal reception or downloading speed. On top of that, when I entered the room and read the introduction of facilities. They only offer free wifi for up to 24 hrs for certain bookings. I mean, really?! In Melbourne CBD area and you provide wifi services like this? I'm speechless. Parking was $18 AUD per day at a secure spot which is a good price within the CBD I reckon. Room design and functionality are actually pretty good, window facing the main street and I pleasantly wake up hearing the rail starts to service the city in the morning. Location wise it's very convenient, like 5-8mins away from Emporium Mall / china town and lots of good food around. Staff are all very nice, polite and with smile all the times. Honestly this apartment is all good except the policy of wifi charges. With no offence the policy is totally ridiculous, even any cafes just one block away provides free wifi for unlimited time, rather than the pity 24-hours connection under certain booking conditions at this hotel.
