Everything was great except the meal we had after a night out on the town. It was 11:40 PM and the restaurant closed at Midnight. After trying to get food we were told the only thing available for us was a Roast Beef Sandwich. We agreed only because we were hungry but the food was horrible. Although the hotel was very clean and the staff was fairly good, I would never stay here again.

Amazing Hotel!

Location, Rooms, Food
The Ashling Hotel is absolutely amazing. I would recommend this hotel to any type of traveler. The tram and train station were right across the street. Many attractions near by and if they weren't, the tram would take you there for about 4 Euro round trip. The airport Express bus takes you straight from the airport to Heuston station (right across the street from the hotel). The hotel held our bags for us since we arrived before check in. They were super nice and tagged our bags when we dropped them off. The staff was very helpful in telling us about things to do in Dublin and where to go. The hotel has two places to eat and both were very delicious! The breakfast was worth the 13 euro for the full Irish breakfast. The rooms were very nice and by far some of the best rooms I have stayed in while in Europe. I would stay at this hotel anytime I go to Dublin and I would recommend this hotel to EVERYONE!. By far an amazing experience in a hotel and city.

Good stay with fantastic breakfast

Clean and location
Comfortable stay. Not much hassle. Good location with Luas (trem) nearby. Easy access to city. Pretty good standard. Just that the luggage store is not well managed. Looks like everyone can just drop the luggage there. I can claim my luggage even without showing my card. I pass my card to the store keeper and he don't really bother to check. I even went in to get the luggage myself. I will consider this as dangerous and most likely will not store my luggage if coming back again.

5 star stay

Cleanliness, size & value for money
We stayed here over the weekend (27th feb - 1st march). The hotel is gorgeous! Very well presented & the staff were all lovely & extremely helpful. There was 10 of us staying, so we'd booked 3 rooms which were all situated together & they were well sized & very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again & more than happy to recommend to family & friends!
