Beautiful hotel, nice staff bit far from centre
9.3
the hotel was a great find especially for the price. the lobby is nice and the staff were so welcoming when we arrived. the room was a good size and the bed was fit for a king. the pool was nice but cold so we could only stay in a short while, it was really cold. the hotel is across the river so a 10 min walk to town or u can ask for a free drop off on motorbike. overall grwat stay

Great hotel, nice pool
swimming pool, style of room, friendly staff
9.3
we only stayed here for 1 night but we really appeciated how nice the hotel was (especailly after a slightly disasterous stay in a hotel in siem reap). the pool was nice to relax in, the staff were helpful and friendly and the room was beautiful with a large amount of space and a balcony. couldnt have asked for more considering the price we paid!

Best hotel ever
Amazing staff, amazing room
10
This hotel was incredible. They somehow knew or had someone waiting to pick us up from the bus when I hadn't told them how or when I was getting in. The tuk tuk driver that picks you up is kind of the hotel tuk tuk and he gave us a tour after we got arranged in our room which was amazing! The hotel itself if beautiful. New rooms, with great beds and shower. THere is also a pool and restaurant. The staff at the hotel are super super friendly. They all just wanted to chat and help you in any way possible. I loved this place. Battambang as a town is pretty neat as well.

Great modern hotel - spotlessly clean. Nice indoor pool. Friendly staff. Limited English - but OK. Great views of historic central Battambang from rooftop deck.

New hotel with great staff
9.3
Big room, big bathroom, big comfy beds! This is a newish hotel (about 12 months old) and is well maintained and very clean. We stayed for 6 nights and our room was cleaned everyday. We had a balcony but did not use it as it is a dusty town.
The breakfast was usual hotel fare with fresh fruit, eggs made to order and a selection of Asian dishes. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They were a real highlight of our.
The wifi was great!
Restaurant Tip:
There are great Cambodian beer garden/karaoke restaurants walking distance from the hotel which are worth a visit for the food and singing. Try KO Resturant and Asean Restaurant.

Great location, central to everything but peaceful
the pool was a welcome option after a long hot day: and open till after 10pm!
7.7
the room was clean and comfortable, and the views of the river and sunrise/sunset from the 2 windows and balcony were delightful. I got quite a few good photos. I note a previous reviewer had complained about the lack of natural light and that the balcony was not accessible because of shutters: all you have to do is open them! I found that the room stayed quite cool while I was away (due to the shutters/windows/heavy curtains available) and I did not have to rely on airconditioning to get it to a comfortable temperature. Breakfast was a tad disconcerting, but if one sticks to the options on the menu (which features both western and local options)rather than brave the open dishes on the buffet, one should be safe.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
do consider hiring Mr Oeurm, the tuktuk driver who parks out the front, to take you to see the local sights. He packs a lot into a day, and one sees a lot more this way. The countryside is beautiful, and the locals (particularly the children!) are friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed this experience.

Excellent value and comfort
Beautiful river views available. Immaculate presentation.
9.7
A wonderful hotel to take a break from the madding crowds and traffic. We were travel weary when we arrived and this hotel was a perfect place to unwind and relax. Our room was immaculate and cool with lovely shuttered doors that opened into a balcony were we could sit and enjoy the sunset and even the beautiful sunrise over the river. The fittings were first class, good shower, good linen, attractive decor even if it is not to everyones taste. The huge carved furniture is truly grand fit for a king and queen! The hotel staff were very helpful and helped me make international calls when we had a problem back home. The restaurant is open for all meals and so it was easy just to eat at the hotel if we didn't feel like going out. The main city area is over the bridge and is quite a pleasant walk along the river. If you don't feel like walking, there are always tuk tuks waiting for business immediately outside the hotel at $1 a ride. Would recommend this hotel. Real value for the price.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The circus on Mondays and Thursdays is worthwhile entertainment. The hotel can book for you. Go early before the show and take a look around the organization and what they do. Get a tuk tuk there and the driver will wait for you to take you home ($4-$5)

Lots of hotel for not a lot of money
8.3
We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the rooms and the features. While not everything was top class, some of the features in the rooms are not even standard even a hotel twice the price of the King Fy. The English level of the staff was a bit uneven, but we would not hesitate to stay again....and already have.

River Outlook
Quiet location, friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, pleasant outlook
9.3
The warm welcome continued throughout our stay at King Fy. Staff were helpful, polite and very friendly. The varied and tasty breakfasts on the terrace were a daily delight. Our room was spacious and tasteful and we loved tiny balcony, offering us a window onto the city over the river. The hotel's quiet loction, on the West Bank, is perfect for a quiet stroll into town.
