Very charming Hotel

The french owner was very friendly and we felt like special guests from the first moment.
The rooms were in a very good condition. Full equiped, with charming furniture and a lot of features we did not expect.
We felt home and had some marvellous days.
Travel tip:
Take a Tuctuc and drive around, they will show you some impressive sights around.
Have a fresh selfmade lemonade or one of the superb cakes at EpicArtscafe in the center, which is organized by very friendly handicapped people also selling beautiful handmade products there.

Delightful 3 roomed hotel in old colonial house
Centrally situated yet quiet, lovely atmosphere and helpful staff.

Breakfast served at any time was a real treat! We had the large family room at the top of the house which although hot on entering soon cooled down with fan and a/c. No safe in room and control of reception safe keys seemed a bit lax.
Restaurant Tip:
Rikitikitavi restaurant is truly excellent. A bit more expensive than many of the others but well worth it. And the cocktails had a good amount of alcohol in them unlike many other places!

Quaint hotel with large rooms but noisy

The upstairs rooms mean you have to negotiate a fairly steep set of stairs, which may not be suitable for more elderly people or persons with bad knees. Overall, not a bad place to stay, but unless you plan on rising before dawn, you should be aware that in the wee small hours before sun-up there will be barking dogs, motorbikes, the locals either preparing their breakfast or repairing something that will most likely wake you up earlier than you wish. If you definitely want to sleep in a bit, you may be better off finding another hotel. Breakfast was a set menu that was acceptable. If you are woken up early and want to make the most of it, I would suggest arming yourself with your camera and getting some early morning shots of the sun hitting the wonderful facades of some of the buildings nearby.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Take a trip to Kep and have some pepper crab.
