Character Jungle retreat which could be amazing.
Large room, clean, excellent staff, games room was cool.

This place was very quirky, and had great character and being set in the jungle it was very quiet (apart from the wildlife). Could be a bit isolated as it is a 20 minute tuk tuk to town along a bumpy track which is possible to walk in the day (1hour) but not in the evening. We hired a bike for a day and that gave us some flexibility. The staff were fantastic, really helpful and with good english. Food was good, a little more pricey than the average place but freshly cooked. Breakfast was very nice too and the girls allowed us to take our breakfast baquette as a take away for our day trip out to rabbit island. The rooms had good style, mosquito net and were very clean but we struggled to sleep each night as the fan was very noisy and not adequate for the heat and there was a large family of giant geckos living behind the picture frame which made some noise. If you don't like creatures we suggest you don't come here as there was a lot of noises and rustling in our room each night so we didn't sleep well. There was a good communal feel and each night we talked with other guests. The layout of the place allows it to be social or you can find a quiet spot too. The natural pool was not at all inviting at this time of year. Overall a good stay but really didn't sleep well.
