It was a peaceful and relaxing stay. Although the power outages were frequent, the staff was prepared for this and the hotel continued daily routines. I would go back to Vanna Hill again, it is truly a place for pure relaxation and a break from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Overall a nice resort for the price. Don't expect perfection, for example, housekeeping ran out of instant coffee for the rooms for one whole day, but the room was clean, pool was clean and there were enough sun beds to go round when we were there. The restaurant was nothing special though; prices were higher than you'd pay at the nearby crab market, and it was hard to get waiters' attention.
Although the website didn't mention a fridge, one was in the room when we arrived, which was a nice surprise. Staff were polite and helpful. Nearby Veranda Resort is a cut above Vanna Hill Resort, but significantly more expensive. We'd stay there again.

I had a great stay at Vanna Hill! I loved the big pool with an ocean view, the balconies with hammocks, and comfortable room. A good mix of people there--some families, some couples, and some solo travelers. It is in walking distance to the national park and hiking, as well as the crab market and other restaurants. Friendly staff. Totally recommend it.

Just got back from a 4 night stay at Vanna Hill. It was really enjoyable - the hotel is right by the national park on a hillside so great location, and was really quiet and chilled atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was really good. There was also an adorable puppy called Hehe who was very playful! I would definitely recommend staying here, and would stay here again. Only minus for me would be that there wasnt a safe in the room.
