Trendy place in Phnom Penh

Great location, nice bar and restaurant, rooms are ok.

The restaurant's terrace and the inside bar is a great place to eat or just hang out. Rooms are ok in size but nothing outstanding. No lift. Staff is great.

Friendly folks with great kitchen

great happy hour , staff went above the call of duty
8.7
Booked a room with a king , stay was great , only detractor was we were on the 3rd floor witch if you've got bad knees you may want to make sure you can get a lower room, great location
Travel tip: There is an Indian resturaunt one block south close to a sports bar check it out food was delicious

very nice architecture, good location, clean

very nice architecture & style, good location, excellent croissants :)
8.7
Pros: - I loved the atmosphere of this hotel with old architecture, and its convenient location in phnom penh. - Croissants offered for breakfast are the best I have eaten for years (and I'm French) - Good food quality at the restaurant To improve: - Bed sheets where put too tight/close to the bed (I know this is a standard practice in good hotels, but sleep is not good when you feel emprisonned in the bed) - I was surprised that staff did not wish me Merry Christmas on Christmas Day

Good hotel, but not with the best rooms

Location, free (limited) laundry.
8.3
The hotel had people who spoke good English, and the extra service of providing 5 pieces of free laundry everyday per person was indeed welcomed. However, the room that I stayed in this time (second time I went) was very much smaller than before. The bathroom was also limited in space.

Great location and friendly staff

location for sightseeing
8.3
We stayed here on the way to siem reap after flying into Phnom Phen and it was a great location. We only stayed one night and the staff were friendly and helpful. We arrived late and they carried our bags to the room (thankfully as we wouldnt have made it up the stairs due to travel tiredness). The hotel is in a good location and there are lots of bars and restaurants on the same street. On the way back through Phnom Phen we tried to stay here but it was fully booked, they also were advertising a very different price to the one available on Agoda so i would recommend trying to book online rather than just turning up! Also if the Anise is full i would recommend trying Amber Villas just over the road as the rooms are larger and just as clean and quite as the Anise.
Hotel Feature Tip: If the Anise is full i would try the Amber Villas over the road as the rooms are larger and just as clean as the Anise.

Great Hotel with Nice Decor

Spacious Rooms, Food, Location
8.7
This was my first hotel in our trip to Cambodia and we were extremely satisfied. Free laundry (5 pieces per person) was extremely useful. The room was very, very spacious and we were very delighted with the room.

Charming hotel in French colonial style

Very friendly staff, nice atmosphere, great terrace

One of the best choices for staying in Phnom Penh. Good value for money. Good restaurant with fine breakfast. Clean. Staff very helpful. Standard room pretty small, but adequate. Good beds. In a safe area with many other restaurants.

nice place in a good location with friendly staff

nice little boutique hotel
7.7
It is a nice boutique hotel in a great location in Phnom Penh near to both Independence Monument, Lucky Supermarket and Brown Cafe. The room's furnishings were basic and the little kitchen area was nice. The bathroom was serviceable. Considering the price it was good value for money.

Lovely hotel and great service

Hotel is unique and decor and finish has character
8.7
The hotel decor, finish and appointments make the hotel stand out. These give the hotel character. Combine these with the excellent service for the hotel operations as well as its restaurant and you have all of the ingredients for customer loyalty.

The service is excellent

Service and decor
9.7
I find the service warm and friendly - from the reception to the servers at the restaurant. The hotel lobby and rooms are also tastefully and aesthetically furnished, unlike many other tacky hotels in Phnom Penh I've stayed. The only downside is the lack of lift, so you will have to haul your luggage up and down the stairs. Not so much of a problem for me as I often travel light. Location-wise, it is tucked away in a small road so it is not noisy. But you need tuk-tuk or motorbike to get to just about anywhere. Otherwise, 20 minutes walk to central market.
