Good location and helpful staff
It is located close to the riverfront with lots of shops and restaurants but the hotel price is inexpensive.
8.3
The hotel provides a daily half-size water bottle. Considering the hot weather, a regular bottle is preferable.
Breakfast was tasty although the selections were limited.
The staircase was small and winding; people with lots of luggage might have some problems.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Buy water from the small shop across the street. The minimart which is diagonal to the hotel is more expensive.

Great location and nice room
Near the riverside,nice staff.
9.3
good location near the riverside and all the nightlife.close to the weekend night market and about 10 mins walk from the central market and bar street area.
room was very nice with good size balcony. staff were nice and friendly so much so we went back to stay there again at the end of our trip around cambodia.
Shopping Tip:
For the cheapest prices go to the Russian market , it is much cheaper than the Central market.

Second time I stayed and this time I had a room with a balcony and window and view and what a fabulous room. like being in the rooftops of Paris but this time in Phnom Penh. Wonderful gazing down and across at the life around me.
Secure, safe place to stay with lovely staff, very helpful will watch your bags if you need to travel for a few days, helped me with packing box to send overseas.

Front desk staff is friendly.
Travel tip:
Always bargain when shopping or taking the tuk tuk. Rule of thumb is to bargain up to 50% of the offered price.

this place was amazing!!!
the staff were just so friendly and helpful and even though they couldnt speak english very well they understood everything and went out of their way to help.
the location is perfect - right among all the restaurants and bars - but it is quiet when in room so you can sleep.
the rooms are great size, large beds, super clean and comfortable.
i would def stay here again.

Great Budget Hotel
Cheap, Clean and Nice Environment

After getting pretty poor value and very little sleep from riverfront hotels in Phnom Penh we decided to seek out somewhere else. BJ's House is a couple of streets back from the riverfront - still conveniently located for both the riverfront and the central market, but also lacking the crazy street noise of a riverside location. We slept pretty well here, and we're extremely fussy about noise and sleep quality - you can hear a couple of bars and clubs but they're at some distance and not too bothersome.
The room was well decorated and equipped - four poster bed, window, air con, free wifi, hot shower, although there was a slight damp smell. The water smelled a bit odd, but this isn't unusual for Phnom Penh.
Staff were all friendly, breakfast wasn't amazin but not bad considering it was included in the already low price.
