Best place I stayed in Cambodia
Very restful decoration, great staff
9.7
I arrived feeling very unwell and the staff were exceptionally kind and caring. One staff member helped me to arrange forward travel. He had good English and was very pleasant. The hotel has a lovely arrangement of furniture and colour which makes it restful. I would stay there again even though the price exceeded my budget

Enjoyable stay in a tasteful hotel with pleasant and helpful staff.
I found this hotel a bit expensive for Phnom Penh especially off season.

Wonderful Location
Great place to venture out from. The promenade along the river was spectacular, great restaurants nearby, and just 10 minutes of walking to the palace.
9.3
This is one of the better values in hotels that I've found in major cities of SE Asia. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone, especially if they can get a good rate through Agoda like I did. I had a great view of the river. My room was sparkling clean.

Bougainvillier Hotel
Location on the river front.
7.7
On arrival, hotel had messed up booking and thought my friend and I would share one room when we had actually booked 2 rooms. They sorted it out for us but meant I needed to shift rooms the next day.

Nice boutique hotel in great location
nice breakfast, convenient location, many nearby restaurants & attractions; nicely furnished
9.3
I would definitely stay at the Bouganvillier if I were to visit Phnom Penh again. The location is nice in that it's close to several of the main sight seeing attractions. It's also right on the river, which adds to overall setting. The breakfast provided a nice mix of cereals, fruit, croissants, bacon & sausage, as well as a few traditional Asian breakfast staples (e.g. noodles and rice). I had been warned by other reviews about the night manager, but I also experienced her aggressive sales approach. If the hotel wants to establish a travel agency it would be much more appropriate to have a concierge service or a sign posted in the lobby. The travel agency/internet cafe next door, however was very convenient and the agent never went for the high pressure sale. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and would I recommend to other travellers.

A good and economical place to stay
Friendly, helpful staff, cleanliness and location (opposite riverfront)

This is a centrally located and comfortably hotel with very friendly and obliging staff with generally good english and communication skills. Breakfast was adequate with a reasonable variety of both western and asian dishes. The restaurant fronts on to the street with a good aspect over the river and passing traffic. I found the hotel to be clean and well maintained, air conditioning worked well and the location is excellent, being on the riverfront and in the middle of the restaurant/bar district.
Shopping Tip:
The Central Market was a great place to shop for local merchandise. "Brand" name clothing however, was hard to find. Be prepared to haggle over price and there are plenty of bargains to be had.

Beautiful building and nice rooms. For cost found hotel wanting especially with services provided. Being so close to riverfront even taxi's & Tuk Tuk's wanted to charge more when finding out where we were staying.

Hotel was good. Good service, quick and efficient and very helpful. Hotel was located in a business district and very was convenient, many small shops and easy to get around; staffs were all very friendly and although only spoke limited English. Breakfast was average very original nothing that special. The look of the hotel was average for the price I paid, very comfortable, did not have any bad odours. Lifts were a little slow. Overall I enjoyed staying at this hotel and will definitely come back. I would recommend this hotel to family and friends.
