Perfect location on Sisowath Quay, free upgrade to a suite, excellent air-con and fans, large size of rooms in suite.
No lift, many stairs; room entrance in a separate building from hotel reception--awkward.
Very friendly staff. With hotel mostly vacant (off-season), rates were low and they gave us free upgrade to a suite with a river view. There's no lift, though, so we had to climb two flights of stairs in an un-air-conditioned stairwell. The rooms had tasteful furniture, but lacked drawers for clothes. The in-room safe was hard to operate and we required the staff to open it at one point. Breakfasts were okay (a very limited buffet) in the hotel's elegant restaurant. Overall, a nice place; would stay there again and recommend to others.
Restaurant Tip : Two excellent nearby restaurants: Metro Bar and Restaurant and Friends Restaurant

Excellent location, friendly staff and service, beautiful ro9om decoration
The hotel is in the best location in Phnom Penh, overlooking the river. This is one of the key streets with many bars and restaurants and as such, great to be based in. The price was very reasonable for the hotel. The breakfast was adequate. I stayed at te suite, which is beautifully decorated - in a traditional Asian manner. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Upon request, I was provided with the cable for ADSL internet. Really good value for money.

Hotel is centrally located near the palace and next to the river within a few steps from mant restaurants and bars.
There is no lift so a room in the 4th floor can be physicaly taxing. The AC take a lot of time to cool the room.
The staff is friendly and helpful. The prices are reasonable and the hotel is very well located next to the happenning part of Pnom Penh and within walking distance to the palace and other major attractions. The only negatives are the lack of an elevator (lift) and an old AC which takes time to cool the room.
Nightlife Tip : Check out the bars and restaurants in the surrounding streets. Try the Amok and Lak Lok for local dishes.

Stayed here a few weeks ago and found it to be a decent hotel. Very clean and organized with attentive and friendly staff. The only drawback was the breakfast buffet was pretty bare. Not many options. The location is great with many places to eat just meters away. I recommend paying the extra to get a river view room. It was almost twice the size of the city view rooms and they have balconies so you can relax outside and watch the craziness that is Phnom Penh speed by.

Good location easily move around and restaurants around are pretty good and convenient.
The bed came with bed bugs, the breakfast is too limited and choices are repeating everyday. The smell of the entrance, and no lift. furniture are extremely old.
The hotel is overpriced, even with this strategic location. Food in the hotel is extremely unacceptable. Hotel staffs are very friendly and speak quite good english. Very efficient in making arrangment for tour and business travel. Hotel bathroom should have some necessary supply like comb, toothbrushes. The dispenser of shampoo and soad make the toilet look depressing. Maybe should get the lift. To walk forth floor up is abit tiring for oldies.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Bargain well with the taxi and bike taker, do not let them take advantage of you. They like to give you one price and when send you back to hotel and ask for more as they said the journey is farther that you describe. Get the hotel to talk to them if it happens to you.

The view from the room was bad.
Good location and surroundings near the Mecon River. The location was close to the Royal Palace. The room was large, exoic and well kept. The western breakfast was just OK. There were some restaurants and bars for tourists around the hotel, but the prices were for tourists. Overall consider good value for money.

Location, decoration, staffs
Too expensive, Room's facilities
Very convenient location, 5' to Royal palace & rite in front of the river. Nice decoration both in room & lobby. Staffs are so friendly & helpful. BUT, this hotel is way too expensive compare to others. With this cost, it should equip lots more facilities but not just shampoo & shower gel & minibar. I did expected MORE when coming there but, so disappointed!

Good Location on the waterfront and close to restaurants and bars
Really needs a lift - especially if you are staying on the upper floors of the hotel
My experience with the hotel wasn't the best.
Unfortunately there was demolition work being completed next to the hotel which started early morning and went throughout the day. I felt that this should be highlighted to travellers as it was impossible to rest during the day.
Overall the the rooms are reasonable value for the price - very spacious though a little dated.
Overall though I wouldn't return to this hotel - for the price you may find it worth giving it a go.
Restaurant Tip : Metro Bar located close by is a great place to escape for a nice meal or a quiet drink.

Friendly staff and beautiful lobby
misleading floor orders..seems the 1st floor is actually the 3rd; no lift, breakfast is boring,
A over priced hotel which does not have any facilities for 3/4 stars
Restaurant Tip : Many nice restaurants in this area, both local and western

building work going on when we stayed
slightly tired bathroom
Everything was ok, we had stayed in some nicer hotels that where a bit more expensive that this one, so when we arrived our expectation had been raised. the restaurant was nice, but we only ate breakfast. the room was nice, but the bathroom was a bit dated (although clean). overall everything was ok for the money.

Ambience, furniture, decorations, Friendliness.
Food and choice of wines.
Airconditioning needs improvement.
This is excellent value for a Boutique Hotel in which will become an attractive area. There was construction going on whilst I was there. The spiral staircase was an attractive feature, as was the book lending in reception. Well worth a visit. There are many outside cafes and shops nearby,
Restaurant Tip : Many outside cafes where you can sip a beer, coffee or wine and watch the traffic go by - including elephants
