the staff at cardamom hotel & apartment are always friendly and helpful. the breakfast there is very good, with made-to-order soup and fresh fruit. convenient location. the rooms are clean with ac and free bottled water. enjoyed my stay, and would recommend this hotel to other looking for a comfortable accommodation.

nice room with easy access

the room, location, in room facilities good and friendly service. my room has a balcony and palace view at the penthouse floor. the rooms big enough for family or tourist packing your stuff, more than 21 sq m. but my time staying here quite unlucky cause next to the hotel ,just 5m distance, has a construction work on building plant. very noisy full 24 hours. i hope the hotel must go to complain the working must be on 8-6 better.

Although my room was not cleaned on the third day of my stay, I had a wonderful stay at the Cardomom. The staff are excellent and the rooms are well-appointed. The restaurant is also great.
Shopping Tip:
Get a tuktuk to street 240 (for about $2) and check out some of the beautiful boutiques and cafes.

Nice Rooms and Free WiFi

We choose the hotel because we were booked on an Intrepid tour of Cambodia and it started from this hotel. We arrived 2 days before the tour started so that we could see more of Phnom Penh. A lot of other tours use this hotel so it must be good value however if I was going again I would try and stay nearer the Riverside area.
If you like night clubs the Heart of Darkness is only around the corner.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Try and get a top floor room because the big tour coaches start their engines in front of the hotel at about 7am.

See previous review written about a week ago for my comments. I stayed 3 weeks for business but chose to extend my stay for an additional week when my family joined me. I had an enjoyable stay at cardamom. Only negative feedback was the nasty shock I recorded when checking out. The reception had neglected to inform me that the free two items of laundry daily did not include ironing fees. I was charged over $50 US for ironing over my month stay. Rather a lot given I ironed most of my business shirts (which were meant to be already ironed) priorto wearing.

Good hotel in quiet neighbourhood

this is the second time i stay in this hotel within a year. i booked twin delux room, it is lage and very clean and bright but the bathroom is supplied with very simple amenities.the buffet breakfast is average with limited choices, very dark and strong coffee, however, staff is polite and service is quick. i highly recommend this hotel to worldwide traveller.

I stayed here for a month business trip. The room was very comfortable with a good view, desk and balcony. Very clean rooms and friendly staff. Included buffet breakfast had a good mix of western and Asian dishes. Will stay at cardamom for future visits in phnom penh. enjoyable stay.
