The hotel location is excellence with a busy street in front. You could find a street of massage centres in a stone throw from the hotel. The price is reasonable, USD 5 to 6 per hour. Wat Phnom, the famous temple, is within the walking distance from the hotel too.
The breakfast provided in the hotel is no so tasty. Surprisingly, you could find india roti canai, a kind of bread eat with curry is provided in the restaurant & taste very nice.

friendly staff. rooms clean and comfortable. breakfast average. convenient location. stayed here for 4 nights and had no real dramas- for the price it was good.
Restaurant Tip:
about a 15 minute walk alongside the river will bring you to many eateries. Highly recommend Anjali Restaurant- GREAT Indian, excellent vegetarian options and nice Khmer food.

Review of Casa Hotel in Cambodia
Good,helpful and friendly staff. Thanks to the staff. Walking distance to Sunway hotel where I had the seminar for 5 days. Room rate is comfortable (budgeted)

This is a budgeted hotel, but if you expect perfectness pls do not go there. Since it is an old hotel electical swithces,intercom etc..are not working perfectly. If you need to visit famous Russian market, central market it is imperative to hire a taxi or tuk tuk. Restaurants are not around then you have to hire a vehicle.
Nightlife Tip:
You may see some around famous Watphnom in the dark.

A good hotel

i would like to recommend this hotel to visitors who intend to travel to Phnom Penh, Cambodia because it is a nice hotel with a small swimming pool and well-furnished rooms. the location of the hotel is quite ok if you intend to visit Wat Phnom and Phsar Thmey. The staff there are friendly. however there is only one elevator in the hotel and the operation speed is quite low.

The Friendly Hotel

The Casa Hotel is situated less than 3 minutes walk from the famous Wat Phnom and 15 minutes from the busy Riverside nightlife area. The Hotel has good size rooms is clean and tidy but is very definitely in need of refurbishment. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is sometimes buffet but on most days was the choice of american, continental or asian, all were pretty good. The pool is a big plus as there are very few hotels in this price range that have one. The hotel also accomodates a night club which seems to operate until sunrise. Situated on the 5th floor I had no problem getting to sleep.
Nightlife Tip:
When finishing up for the night avoid walking home past Wat Phnom as it is frequented many from the wrong side of the law. Whenever travelling back to your hotel in Phnom Penh at night (afer 10pm) catch a moto ($1)or tuk tuk ($2).

Review of the Casa Hotel
Low cost, friendly staff, very attentive

We stayed between Christmas and New Year so there were no other guests. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They made arrangements for us to take the bus to Siem Reap. We stayed up on the 7th floor so there was no noise from the disco which is located next to the hotel.
The hotel is conviently located to quickly go by tuke tuke to many locations. The river is one block away with a wonderful walking boullevard very close.
Overall, I would return to the hotel if I return to Phenom Phen.
Restaurant Tip:
Kabobs on one of the side streets has good Indian food.
