Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Comfortable but a little bit far from town
8.7
we stayed here for three nights with our three month old baby. the hotel does not have a lift so we had to lug our baby stroller up and down the stairs a couple of times a day. good thing we stayed on the first floor and the staff were very helpful and would help us carry it up whenever they saw us. rooms were comfortably furnished. but on the first night i pulled a strand of long white hair from my baby's grasp. she got it from the sheets. maybe it wasn't changed?? it's a bit far from the riverside (7mins by tuktuk) but this was ok by us as it also means less noise at night.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Bargain with the tuk tuk that the hotel calls for before getting on. The one stationed outside the hotel will always try to overcharge.

its not home but it is nice
nice breakfast every day, nice staff
8.7
We were welcomed with the room ready and a friendly smiled from the staff. Breakfast in the cafe every morning was nice, although they were short of croissants sometimes, but made up for it by offering other pastries as part of the menu. The morning fruit drinks were the absolute highlight of breakfast, even though the rest was very nice also. Free wifi in rooms, but remember to ask for the days access code. Room was clean. Bed and pillows too hard for me, but that seems to be normal across asia. 65 channels on tv, with about 8 of them in english including 3 movie channels, but you're not there for tv. I didn't have a laptop but the manager allowed me to use his personal one to make an important email. Staff very friendly and helpful. The restaurant attached to the hotel had good food as well. All in all a comfortable stay and very good value considering you get breakfast free which is worth $7 each
Restaurant Tip:
Coco restaurant next to the Intercontinental hotel. You are given a big pan with water and stock in it and can choose a meat or fish platter accompanied by a huge vege plattter which you then cook yourself in small strainers. Make sure you order plain rice for each person. At the end you get the most amazing tasting soup you can ever imagine to top off a delicious meal. One platter feeds 3-4 people depending on your apetite and costs $12.50 for meat and $18 for fish.

At home in 'Feeling at Home'
Friendly, helpful staff, nice atmosphere throughout the hotel including resturants and rooms. New clean good sized rooms

In a good location, Feeling at Home lives up to it's name with comfortable modern rooms and friendly helpful staff. Food at the resturant is cheap and tasty and the coffee shop provides a good range of drinks and snacks. Free Wifi throughout the hotel is an extra bonus. Lots of cheap tasty resturants within walking distance.
Shopping Tip:
Great supermarket just around the corner with everything you would need
