Always good to return
helpful, polite staff; great location; good breakfast
Always enjoy it. Broken surge protector was replaced after a few tries. Needs rubber mats for treacherous bathtub/shower.

Beautiful boutique hotel
Comfort, location, staff
This was my second stay at this boutique hotel, located on Street 178 within easy walking distance to the river front, National museum, and royal palace, is a wonderful experience. The balcony rooms are huge, tastefully decorated, with every amenity. I loved the stone bathtub and wooden sink. The bed was very comfortable, the lighting was tasteful, with indirect lights. Exquisite rooms. The staff was professional and supremely friendly and helpful in every way. Another reviewer commented that the balcony is not accessible, which is not accurate, although the lock is extremely difficult to open and needs to be oiled. One negative feature of this beautiful boutique hotel, is that it is hidden. Unless your tuk tuk driver knows it, it all but impossible to find with only a hand painted wooden sign above the entrance which is indistinguishable. The only other complaint is about the hot water for the shower, which will neither stay hot nor cold. It is either too hot or too cold and will not stay at a constant temperature. Otherwise, in terms of comfort, cleanliness, amenities, location, staff friendliness and service, and price, the Frangipani Fine Arts Hotel is an excellent choice for a long or short stay in Phnom Penh.

Rats , bloody sheets , broken lights bad plumbing
Location , friendly staff
If you are happy to do your own repairs , spend the night with a rat in our room , and then have to pack up all your belongings in the middle of the night to move to another room from which you then hear the thumping bass from a nearby bar , sleep on sheets that have blood stains on them , change your own lightbulbs , because you asked reception if they could fix the lamp on your nightstand but they fail to do it ... and on top of that you are happy for the shower to continuously change temperature so that you are alternately heated and chilled .. Then I guess it ' s a great " Asian Boutique Hotel " . In other words they know that catch phrase sells rooms so they decorate appropriately , but nothing really works well or is maintained properly It was very disappointing .

2 days stay in January 22 till 24
The beds are comfortable and the artsy toilet is quite interesting, near ammenities and attractions
It was a nice stay, good and friendly staff, rooms are as described , the aroma therapy was a nice touch. The only thing is the signage to hotel is abit faded so tuktuk drivers kept getting lost to the Royal Frangipani instead. It is quiet at night with security officer, i feel safe coz we are a group of travelling girls. Breakfast was not bad, only the last day, the cook was late so breakfast was delayed, however the staff tries to make the best of things, eventually we get our breakkie, so good effort. The front desk was helpful and help us arrange to go for the sunset cruise by the Mekong River, a must go, and it is quite affordable $15 per pax. The welcome drink was well appreciated, afterall it is the dry season, so good job. The last night there however, the hot water from the shower didnt work, inform the staff the following morning and that was rectify timely. The staff also help us arrange for massage at the sister hotel Royal Frangipani, it was very good we went x2 times!! Price is about $34 for full body. The free wifi was a great deal too. Overall a nice experience, will go there again.

Lovely boutique
Location, cleanliness, staff willingness
The location and appointment of this hotel were great although, as it is tucked away, it is a little difficult to find the first time. The staff were helpful and keen to assist with anything needed. The down side was the beds were extremely firm.
