Decent location, Terrible rooms

The GGP hotel has a decent location, close to toul sleng genocide museum and the Russian market and a short tuk-tuk to the nearby lucky supermarket & only a bit further to wat phnom and the palace etc.
However, unfortunately the positives end there! The rooms look like a prison cell... Bars on the windows, drab tiled walls and floors and a terrible bathroom where you can shower and use the toilet at the same time!
Then on to the breakfast provided... Terrible terrible terrible!! It's an entirely Asian buffet style breakfast (this is not the problem) and is served from 7am-9am but on every occasion we went for breakfast (usually between 7:30 and 8:00 everything was stone cold! The food is left in metal canteen trays with no source of heat to keep it warm and as a result goes cold very quickly! We eventually resorted to just having coffee (which is good) and buying breakfast elsewhere!

i'll be honest, i can barely remember this place as we arrived at 8pm, rushed out to meet our friends, and then left the next morning at 6am. it was kinda pricey, as when we came back to pp we picked a place that was almost half the price and nicer. but we chose this one mainly for its proximity to our friends' hotel (mad monkey).

Small but friendly clean and good services
Transport available and front door, staff helpful with local information, WiFi and net service available.

Receptional staff are warm and english speaking, no need to fiil out all the paper work as reception look after it. Elevator is modern and fast, rooms are clean. neat and tidy with the basic essentials. Bathrooms have all you need and spotless. Bed matress was very firm, some like a firm matress. Room fridge has water and hotel informationalong with maps available.
Restaurant Tip:
Food is good but caters for Korean taste. Selkection is small but interesting. Coffee excellent.
