Great value for the location

Stayed here for 2 nights while visiting Phnom Penh. Great location, just a few minutes' walk to the River, FCC, palace. Good selection for breakfast. There's a lot of construction going on across the street, so that could make for some early mornings if you get a room on that side. Tuktuk from airport to hotel was $7 without negotiating. We probably could've done better, but felt the guy earned it after seeing how crazy it is getting around in Phnom Penh.
Nightlife Tip:
Good way to pass time in the evenings is to just sit on the riverwalk, grab a beer from the ladies rolling coolers around, and watch the people or river go by. More enjoyable and much cheaper than trying to find a good bar. I'd suggest Angkor beer, but Kingdom is also good.

The hotel is located in front of the imperial palace, in an area with some restaurants and bars to go to at night.
The rooms are a little bit old but the staff is helpful. But it is good value for money anyway. Breakfast is not terrorific but it is OK.
It's a good hotel for a short stay.

Good location, strange staff
The location is great, next to the National museum and the Grand Palace, close to the riverfront

the hotel is situated in a side street right next to the national museum, close to the riverfront (which offers restaurants, internet cafes and travel agents). the hotel itself is small. our room was also small and didn't have a window. well it did, but that lead out onto the hallway, which meant that we could hear everything from the reception/restaurant one floor below and every move on the stairs. the bathroom was small, windowless but clean. same goes for the room. no complaints about cleanliness. we had our own safety deposit box.
the hotel is alright for two or three nights, if you plan to go out, visit things and don't plan to spend some time in the hotel room. as it was so small, didn't have a window or a balcony it didn't offer any room to spend time there.
the included breakfast was simple.
the hotel staff was very strange. as soon as we arrived we were asked what we want to see in phnom penh and whether we would need a guide, a tuk tuk or anything else. but it was not just a friendly enquiry for help/tips but seemed like we have to book something with them. we declined the offer as we met up with a friend who stayed in another hotel.
the next morning, before we even ordered coffee, the receptionist again asked in a really harsh manor what our plans for the day were and if we needed anything. when we yet again declined he seemed insulted. he also wanted to know our plans for onwards travel and when we didn't book after he gave us bus times and prices but decided to go and check with our friend again to make sure he agrees on the times, he seemed very pissed off. we ended up booking our onwards travel somewhere else as it was more convenient for us and when our pick up for the bus station was late he was really harsh about it and kept going 'i told you, they wouldn't come, if you booked with me this wouldn't have happened'. (the transfer came in the end and everything was fine). we wouldn't stay in that place anymore. but the rooms are ok.

Hotel limpio, cómodo y muy bien situado

El hotel no es de reciente construcción, pero está bien conservado. El colchón es cómodo y la habitación está limpia. Lo mejor sin duda es la localización, justo al lado del Museo Nacional de Historia y el Palacio Real, que son de las pocas cosas que hay que ver en Phnom Phen. El desayuno, sin ser espectacular, es rico y completo.
